Some Aspects Of Change In New England Puritanism, Genevieve Patricia Piley Jul 1963

Some Aspects Of Change In New England Puritanism, Genevieve Patricia Piley

Electronic Theses & Dissertations

The purpose of this study is to examine three factors which contributed to the decline of New England Puritanism in the last half of the seventeenth century. He served as a general officer in three wars and helped to found two world peace organizations: the League of Nations and the United Nations. Many aspects …

Richmond Renascence: The Virginia Writers' Club Of The 1920'S, Betty Farley Jan 1963

Richmond Renascence: The Virginia Writers' Club Of The 1920'S, Betty Farley

Although insufficient research materials available locally provide scanty basis for a critical analysis of the many works of these writers, I feel that the existence of the club, the motivation for its formation, and the kind of atmosphere that it produced deserve attention.
