The purposes of this study are: (1) to help fill an important void in the literature, the lack of substantive empirical investigation of relationships between generations of fathers and their sons; (2) to investigate the assumption that similar attitudes exist between fathers and their sons; and (3) to attempt to supply the necessary data regarding father’s and sons’ attitudes toward family life which may aid those who deal in a helping relationship with these fathers and sons.

The purpose of this study was to identify and compare certain beliefs, called value orientations, that are held by two generations of East Indians residing in the Sutter County area of California. The comparisons involved testing the null hypothesis to the effect that there are no significant differences between the value orientations of the two generations of East Indians.

It was the purpose of this study to collect data concerning the presence of that content in the Newbery Medal Award winning books which may influence children’s learning of American middle-class moral and ethical values.

The general problem of this study was to investigate and analyze selected social, political, and economic factors in Ethiopia that affect the continuation and development of education by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The specific purpose of this research was to develop from this analysis of Ethiopia those alternatives and recommendations which would aid Seventh-Day Adventist leaders in the development of plans for educational work in that country.
