BACKGROUND: The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically changed healthcare systems and training around the world. The Training Committee of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition sought to understand how COVID-19 has affected pediatric gastroenterology fellowship training.
METHODS: A 21 question survey was distributed to all 77 pediatric gastroenterology fellowship program directors (PDs) in the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition program director database via email on April 7. Responses collected through April 19, 2020 were analyzed using descriptive statistics.

COVID-19 has dramatically challenged the healthcare system of almost all countries. The authorities are struggling to minimize the mortality along with ameliorating the economy downturn. Unfortunately, till now, there has been no promising medicine or vaccine available. Herein, we deliver a perspective of nanotechnology for increasing the specificity and sensitivity of current interventional platforms towards the urgent need of quickly deployable solutions. This review summarizes the recent involvement of nanotechnology from the development of biosensor to fabrication of multifunctional nanohybrid system practiced for respiratory and deadly viruses, along with the recent interventions and current understanding about SARS-CoV2.

The decline in economic activity and government revenues was due to the severe decline in oil prices which resulted in deep spending cuts and significant private sector job losses. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Dunleavy mandated that Alaska’s K12 schools closed to in-person instruction; later, these school closures were extended until the end of the 2019-2020 academic year. Across the state, educators worked not only to ensure they met their responsibilities for instruction, but also other key school functions including parent resources, meal services, and social-emotional learning. Concurrently, senior college students in teacher licensure programs at the University of Alaska (UA) were in classrooms fulfilling their clinical experience (student teaching) requirements. The purpose of this study is to find out the online learning process in the middle and post-pandemic Covid-19. This research employed one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were the fourth-semester students of the MPI Department of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in the even semester of the academic year 2019/2020. The sample of this study was 30 students. Data obtained using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used a paired T-test with an error rate of 5%. This report is provisional and subject to change. City of Detroit and Wayne County are reported separately. MDHHS began tracking probable cases April 5, 2020. FCI indicates federal correctional institute. MDOC indicates Michigan Department of Corrections. Diagnostic tests, including nucleic acid amplification/real-time polymerase chain reaction (NAAT/RT-PCR) and rapid virus antigen detection point of care (POC) tests, look for current infection. Serology (antibody) tests are used to look for the possibility of previous infection.
