This paper examines the cisnormative environment created by men's and women's labeled sports, and how claims often used to exclude transgender, non binary, and intersex athletes are disproved by psychology and physiology. It also discusses the NCAA's current policies on the inclusion of transgender, non binary, and intersex athletes.

The purpose of this applied study was to solve the central research question of how the problem of lack of assistant football coach retention that also teach in the faculty at City High School (a pseudonym) located in Northern Virginia be solved. A foundational principle in sport science involves applying an evidence-based approach to training and development of athletes. The primary objective is to provide an effective training program, while monitoring general athletic performance (GAP) development (i.e., athlete-monitoring), ensuring intended adaptations are occurring. Much of the literature has focused on GAP markers (e.g., physical qualities related to strength, speed, power, agility, and endurance) which are only suggested to influence competitive sport performance (SP) outcomes (e.g., yards per carry, batting average, hitting percentage, rank or placement, etc.; B. Previous studies have indicated a lack of career maturity within the intercollegiate student athlete population. This can apply to institutions of all divisions across the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Various institutions are not implementing proper intervention strategies to guide their student athletes to thrive in their life after sports.
