A technique is proposed herein for transporting Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) overhead over a 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1GbE) Optical Service Channel (OSC) by replacing available inter-packet-gap (IPG) idle capacity with OAM Sequence Ordered Sets. A hardware data path between a 1000Base-X Physical Coding Sublayer (PCS) and a 25 Gigabit Ethernet (25GbE) PCS performs rate adaptation, 64b/66b mapping, 256b/257b transcoding, and forward error correction (FEC), while preserving a 1.25-Gbit/s line rate. Clinical decision support systems using large language models can face challenges in reliability and explainability, particularly in adhering to validated clinical guidelines when processing unstructured and incomplete patient electronic health records. A described system can use an agentic pipeline to structure a patient's health data into a temporal, sequential history. This study investigates the combined effects of corrosion level and environmental exposure on flexural behaviour of corroded reinforced concrete (RC) prisms repaired with self-compacted concrete (SCC) and strengthened with a near-surface-mounted (NSM) carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) system. Two accelerated corrosion levels (10% and 30%) were introduced before repair. The damaged concrete cover was removed and recast using self-compacting concrete (SCC), followed by NSM-CFRP strengthening. The repaired prisms were then exposed to standard laboratory conditions (ST), 300 freeze-thaw (FT) cycles, or 50 wet-dry (DW) cycles before flexural testing. Self-attention mechanisms in neural network models can result in quadratic time and memory complexity, creating a memory bottleneck when processing long sequences. A hierarchical approximation of self-attention can address this limitation. The historical key-value cache can be represented as a balanced hierarchical tree where internal nodes store aggregated representations of token clusters. The RAPD marker technique was used with oligonucleotide primers as marker of study. Digital transformation is reshaping public-sector work and may alter how public servants evaluate their psychological contract with their employer. This research-in-progress examines how critical incidents associated with digital transformation disrupt psychological contracts and how ideological currency, the perceived commitment to valued societal causes or principles, shapes subsequent trajectories toward renegotiation, repair, or exit. The study uses a qualitative phenomenological design based on semi-structured interviews with 20 employees from five Dutch municipalities experiencing transformation-related changes. Javanese traditional drama (wayang) is a key element of Indonesia's cultural heritage, yet classroom instruction remains largely text-based and low in engagement. This study developed and evaluated Wayang 3D, a cloud-based interactive e-book integrating Canva, Heyzine, and H5P to support traditional-drama learning. Using the ADDIE model, the product was validated by content and media experts and tested through a quasi-experimental nonequivalent pretest–posttest control-group design with 62 ninth-grade students. The purpose of this qualitative mini ethnography adapted from traditional ethnography with limited time and scope, was to explore and understand perceptions of barriers and facilitators to health literacy among Black Americans with overweight and obesity in three South Carolina counties. This applied quantitative study examined whether participation in structured mental health check-ins was associated with self-stigma toward seeking psychological help and reported symptoms of anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and depression among law enforcement officers. Using a cross-sectional, nonexperimental comparative design, anonymous survey data were collected from 130 active sworn officers across 10 small and mid-sized Iowa law enforcement agencies. The agencies included those with and without mandatory check-in policies; primary comparisons were based on officers’ reported participation in at least one check-in. U.S. border enforcement has increasingly extended beyond the geopolitical boundary, producing a militarized landscape in which immigration enforcement, national security, and environmental protection intersect. This article examines the environmental implications of the U.S. “100-Mile Zone,” the area extending inward from the nation’s international borders where federal immigration authorities exercise expanded enforcement powers. Situating the analysis within scholarship on militarized landscapes and the “spatial stretching” of borders, the article considers how the expansion of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) authority has transformed both the geography of immigration enforcement and the governance of protected lands.
