Control Data Carried One Bit Per Audio Block In A Continuous Gapless Audio Stream: An Unencrypted Spare Bit Read Before The Key Is Known, Fixed Bit Schedules For An Authenticated Beacon And Mix Labels, Whole-Window Reassembly, And No Period Ever Taken From The Audio, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
Every block of the continuous stream carries audio. One fixed bit of every block, outside the audio plan, is the control bit: in the embodiment the last bit of the 38-byte payload. It is written after the payload is XORed with the stream keystream, so it is sent in the clear and a receiver can read it before it knows any key. A control message’s bits are carried MSB first in consecutive periods on a fixed schedule derived from the absolute period number: the 14-byte (112 bit) beacon in periods 0-111 of every 300 (one beacon every 100 ms), and …

Offlinesi™: Island Mode For An Organization's Ai Systems, With Governance That Tightens With Time Offline And Staged Reopening, Edward D. H. Wang
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes an island mode for the AI systems of an organization or a single device. All traffic between the organization's governed AI systems and the outside world passes through one governed gate. When the gate closes, whether for maintenance, on detection of an attack, on loss of outside connectivity, or by order of an authorized person, the organization's own AI compute, governed data custody and personal AI devices keep serving each other inside, under locally held, signed policies and credentials with declared validity periods. While the island lasts, governance tightens as a declared function of time offline: the …
Receiver Loss Handling For A Low-Latency Digital Audio Link: Per-Block Loss Decided Only By The Receiver's Own Block Check, A Sub-Band Decoder That Freezes On Loss, Convergence Through A Protected Per-Block State Field, And An Output Mute With A Fixed Linear Slide To Zero And A Fixed Ramp-In, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
Decision. For each block period the receiver decides “playable” or “not playable” from its own check of that block only: no block received, a block shorter than the plan, an error-correcting codeword it cannot correct, a keyed tag that fails after correction, the first passing block after any failure (the re-arm rule), a block naming another configuration, or, in detect-only modes, a group whose own parity fails. No error rate, threshold, hold time, signal strength or soft-decision value enters the decision. Frozen decoder. For every group that is not decoded, the sub-band ADPCM decoder outputs zeros and changes no state: …
Si Seal™: Incident Reporting As A Condition Of A Live Certification Mark For Ai Systems, With Ledger-Detected Triggers And Protected Near-Miss Reports, Edward D. H. Wang
Si Seal™: Incident Reporting As A Condition Of A Live Certification Mark For Ai Systems, With Ledger-Detected Triggers And Protected Near-Miss Reports, Edward D. H. Wang
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes a method of making incident reporting a condition of holding a live certification mark for AI systems. The certified system's own tamper-evident ledger is watched for declared trigger events, such as an activation of its independent reset in live operation, a lapse of its power lease outside a drill, the governor reaching its hold level, a breach of data custody, or a security compromise. When a trigger is detected, an initial notice is generated automatically from the ledger and sent through an authenticated channel to the independent certification body, so that reporting does not depend on the …
A Frameless Sub-Band Adpcm Codec Shaped For A Block Radio Link: Fixed Bits Per 4-Sample Group, A Mixed 16/8-Tap Qmf Tree, Stereo Side Information In The Protected Block Descriptor, A Step-Size Field Inside The Block's Error-Correcting Codeword Applied In Every Block At Both Ends, And A Decoder That Freezes On Loss, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The codec works on a group of 4 samples per channel (83.3 µs at 48 kHz) and emits a fixed number of bits for every group. There is no frame, no bit reservoir, no lookahead, and no adaptation that spans groups other than backward-adaptive state the decoder tracks from the bitstream alone. A two-stage QMF tree splits each channel into four 6 kHz bands; the default tree uses a 16-tap filter at the 12 kHz split and 8-tap filters at the two lower splits (26 samples, 0.54 ms of filter delay). Each band is coded by its own ADPCM coder …
Si Regulator™: Independent Second Opinion For Critical Actions Of Ai Systems, Tied To A Governor Ladder And Verified Model Lineage, Edward D. H. Wang
Si Regulator™: Independent Second Opinion For Critical Actions Of Ai Systems, Tied To A Governor Ladder And Verified Model Lineage, Edward D. H. Wang
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes a runtime rule for AI systems under which no critical action is taken on the judgment of a single AI model. Before a critical action is admitted, an independent verifier reviews it. The verifier is one of: a second model whose independence from the first is proven by its recorded lineage (a different developer, base model or training history, as shown in a signed model birth certificate); a deterministic rule checker; or a person. The verifier runs on separate compute, receives the proposed action and its context but not the first model's reasoning, and cannot be addressed …
Uplink Of A Two-Way Ofdm Time-Division-Duplex Wireless Audio System: A Shorter Uplink Numerology Than The Downlink, Microphone Bursts Every Nth Frame, Pilots Only In The First Symbol Of Each Uplink Burst, Open-Loop Uplink Power, And The Operating Modes That Follow, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The uplink uses a shorter OFDM numerology than the downlink: in the embodiment a 128-point FFT with 25 µs symbols on the uplink against a 256-point FFT with 45 µs symbols on the downlink, at one sample rate and on one RF channel. Each numerology is used in one direction only. The cyclic prefix (CP) has the same length in both directions (5 µs, 32 samples; 10 µs in the Range mode). The numerology is fixed by the operating mode and is never signalled. A microphone pack transmits one burst every Nth frame (N = 1, 2 or 4 in …
Si Reset™: A Power Lease For Ai Systems, Renewed Only By An Independent Safety Plane, Edward D. H. Wang
Si Reset™: A Power Lease For Ai Systems, Renewed Only By An Independent Safety Plane, Edward D. H. Wang
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes a method of supplying electrical power to an AI system, or to the machine or compute zone it runs on, as a short lease that must be continually renewed, rather than as a supply that stays on until someone cuts it. A hardware lease controller in the power path holds a contactor closed only while it holds a valid lease. Renewals are signed and issued only by an independent safety plane, separate from the AI system and from its runtime governor, and only while the safety plane's own conditions hold: its safety heartbeat is present, no reset …
Firmware Update Of A Modular Wireless Audio Unit From One Signed Bundle: Host A/B Slots With Self-Confirmation, Rollback On Every Part, I/O And Radio Modules Updated Through Their Slot Interfaces, Radio Modules Forced Into Their Bootloader By A Host-Driven Boot-Select Line And Reflashed Over Their Existing Control Lines, Soldered Radios Recovered By The Host's Own Debug-Port Programming, And Compatibility Decided By A Versioned Contract In Each Module's Id Memory, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The release unit is one signed bundle: a manifest (bundle version, each component’s image version, the hardware revisions each image accepts, the slot contract revision, and a compatibility matrix) plus the host image and every official module image, signed as a whole. The host has A/B application slots: a new image is written to the inactive slot, booted under a watchdog, and must confirm itself after its radio and audio paths are up, or the bootloader reverts to the other slot. The active image is never overwritten. A read-only factory slot and the processor’s ROM recovery paths sit behind it. …
Technical Disclosure Specification: Spec-209-Core Universal Metric Convergence And Matrix Intersection Matrix For Distributed Geometric Compilers, Christopher L. Eckes
Technical Disclosure Specification: Spec-209-Core Universal Metric Convergence And Matrix Intersection Matrix For Distributed Geometric Compilers, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification establishes the definitive architectural, mathematical, and algorithmic criteria for a Universal Metric Convergence Engine to bridge tokenized alphanumeric processing layers with continuous high-dimensional geometric manifolds. As decentralized multi-agent architectures scale toward planetary execution paths, the structural transition between serial text arrays and spatial wave-interference spaces creates a critical operational boundary layer—the Cartesian Ingestion Gap. By executing localized, row-wise Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) across distributed virtual worker nodes, this framework calculates an invariant intersection matrix that measures token-to-geometry drift in real time. This architecture provides an airtight public-domain defensive barrier that blocks corporate entities from utilizing proprietary alignment loops …
Wireless Audio Air Rate Following An External Clock By Symbol-Rate Trim: A Transmitter Whose Radio Keeps Its Own Clean Reference For The Carrier While A Slow Loop Trims The Radio's Numerically Controlled Symbol Rate To An Operator-Selected Console Clock, With Per-Input Lock Indication And Receivers That Follow The Air Rate By Trimming Their Own Dac Clock, So That No Sample-Rate Conversion Occurs In The Normal Path, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The transmitter (a rack unit, “the rack”) has one clock-source setting, chosen by the operator and persisted with a boot default: internal, or any digital input module that recovers a clock (a console’s personal-monitor link, AES50, an A2B console link, an audio network module, word clock). The radio keeps its own clean reference (a TCXO on the radio module), which sets the carrier frequency. The carrier is never derived from the console’s clock and never moves with it. No reference-clock line runs from the host to the radio. With the internal clock selected, the rack’s own audio clock is steered …
Radio-Agnostic Modular Radio Architecture For Wireless Audio Equipment: The Modem On A Pluggable, Self-Identifying Radio Module Fed Framed, Already-Encrypted Blocks, One Radio Interface With A Capability Descriptor, Software Fec Only Where The Radio Lacks It, Capacity Scaled To The Modules Counted At Boot, And A Second Radio Used By Role, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The modem lives on the radio module, not on the host. The host-to-module interface carries framed, already-encrypted audio blocks (and, for a module without error correction, already error-protected ones). A narrowband module is a transceiver run in synchronous direct mode: the host streams the framed bits to its data and clock pins. A wideband module is an I/Q transceiver front end plus an FPGA running an OFDM/TDMA modem, entirely self-contained: the host streams the same framed blocks and the module’s FPGA places them on the air. The host never sees I/Q, OFDM symbols or modem timing beyond a block period. …
Self-Organising Uplink Time Slots And Configuration For Two-Way Wireless Bodypacks On One Shared Time-Division-Duplex Channel, With No Slot Information Ever Transmitted By The Base Station, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
Listen, claim, keep. A pack first locks to the downlink. It then listens to every uplink position for about 0.5 s without transmitting. It takes its preferred position (the one it held last time, one set on the pack, or one written by a wired dock) if that position is free, and otherwise a uniformly random free position. It waits a random number of cycles, checks the position once more, and starts transmitting, with its own pack ID inside the burst. Keeping is implicit. A pack keeps its position by transmitting in it every cycle, including when its audio is …
One Castellated Radio Module Mounted Either Flat On A Body-Worn Receiver Or On A Cross-Insertion-Safe M.2 Key-B Carrier, With Debug On Ground-Edge Castellations, A Forced-Bootloader Line And First Flash By The Host Cpu, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
One radio module, about 22 x 34 mm, with a single row of 16 host castellations on one short edge and 7 castellations on the opposite edge (mostly ground, two carrying the SWD debug port). It contains the radio chip (an EFR32FG23 sub-GHz SoC in the product, or an Si4463 transceiver in the prototype), its RF front end and PA, a metal shield can, its own antenna connector (u.FL), its own regulator fed from the host’s 3.3 V, buffers on every host line, and an ID EEPROM. RF never crosses the host edge. The module is either reflowed flat onto …
Technical Specification: Spec-207-Core Title: Solid-State Acoustofluidic Replicator Box And Closed-Loop Molecular Recycling Appliance For Extraterrestrial Mechanical Counter-Pressure Apparel Suites, Christopher L. Eckes
Technical Specification: Spec-207-Core Title: Solid-State Acoustofluidic Replicator Box And Closed-Loop Molecular Recycling Appliance For Extraterrestrial Mechanical Counter-Pressure Apparel Suites, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification defines the structural criteria and design layout parameters for an autonomous, on-site manufacturing and recycling node designed to operate under extraterrestrial surface conditions. By combining high-frequency Gallium Nitride (GaN) concentric transducer arrays for non-thermal mechanochemical chain scission with acoustophoretic multi-nozzle print heads, the engine isolates ancestral human priority art, neutralizes corporate enclosure traps, and achieves an airtight, closed-loop material recycling perimeter for life-critical space colonization architectures.

Spec-206-Core: Integrated Metamaterial Spacesuit Mesh And Solid-State Acoustofluidic Replicator Appliance For Extraterrestrial Mechanical Counter-Pressure Life Support, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification establishes the mathematical and structural criteria for an integrated, closed-loop extraterrestrial apparel manufacturing and recycling framework. The system defines a monolithic 3D-printed elastomeric spacesuit mesh that applies uniform mechanical counter-pressure (MCP) directly to human anatomy, alongside an on-site acoustofluidic replicator box configured to recycle worn suits back into pristine base monomers via non-thermal mechanochemical chain scission. This integrated, multi-tier system eliminates traditional manual cut-and-sew textile multi-layer manufacturing bottlenecks, suppresses volatile outgassing in high-vacuum space environments, and establishes an irreversible public-domain defensive barrier against the proprietary privatization and corporate enclosure of life-critical planetary colonization technologies.
Hot-Swappable Audio Input/Output Modules For Audio Equipment: A Module Slot Carrying Tdm Lanes, A Selectable Clock Source From Any Module, A Versioned Slot Contract In Module Id Memory And A Hot-Insertion Reset Rule, With A Wireless Monitor Transmitter As The Embodiment, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The transmitter (the “rack”) has one or more rear module slots, all identical. Each slot is a 60-position, 1.00 mm pitch edge-card socket (58 contacts after a polarising key) mounted at the host board’s edge; the module is a 60 x 72 mm card whose front edge carries plain gold fingers, so the module needs no connector part. Two slots fit a half-rack unit and four fit a 1U unit. Each slot carries: four TDM audio lanes into the host and four out of the host, each lane running TDM-8 or TDM-16 framing as the module declares, sharing one bit …
Si Regulator™: One Governance Point For An Ai System's Actions And Its Automated Access To Data And Resources, Edward D. H. Wang
Si Regulator™: One Governance Point For An Ai System's Actions And Its Automated Access To Data And Resources, Edward D. H. Wang
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes a single governance point through which an AI system must pass both the actions it takes on the world and its automated access to data and resources. Actions include physical commands, tool and API calls that change state, transactions and messages sent. Access includes reading or querying data, retrieving documents, obtaining credentials, and using compute, storage or network capacity. Every such request is classified by its effect rather than by the channel it arrives on, checked against one policy, one identity and one current governor level, and either admitted, narrowed, held for human approval or refused. Access …
Receiver Audio Clock Trimmed To Hold A Fixed, Locally Measured Time From A Block's Arrival On Air To Its Take By The Output, With Silent Output During Start And Resync Steps, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The pack measures, with its own cycle counter, the time from a block’s last bit coming off its own radio (“air”) to the moment the output stage takes that block for the DAC (“take”). It averages this air-to-take time over each 0.5 s look. A slow loop trims the pack’s own DAC master clock so that the mean air-to-take time stays at a fixed setpoint configured at build time (315 µs on the bench pack; plus 100 µs on a two-radio pack), with a ±10 µs dead band, a feed-forward of the clock difference fitted from the drift, and a …
Si Regulator™: Runtime Intervention On Ai Controlled Machines That Throttles Planning And Never Stabilizing Control, Edward D. H. Wang
Si Regulator™: Runtime Intervention On Ai Controlled Machines That Throttles Planning And Never Stabilizing Control, Edward D. H. Wang
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes a runtime regulator for machines whose high-level behaviour is chosen by an AI model (robots, drones, vehicles, industrial arms). The regulator divides the machine's control into a planning layer, which chooses goals and actions, and a stabilizing layer, which keeps the body physically safe (balance, attitude, braking, thermal and power limits). When the regulator detects that the machine is leaving its declared operating envelope, it intervenes in graded steps that act on the planning layer only: it narrows the goal set, slows the rate of new actions, restricts the action vocabulary, requires human approval and, at the …
Play-Before-Verify Streaming Decode Of Protected Audio Blocks: Group-Major Block Layout, Gated Speculative Group Decoding With Decoder-State Snapshots And Redo On Check, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The block is laid out group-major: the descriptor, then every mix’s group 0, then every mix’s group 1, and so on; the error-correction parity and the keyed tag come last. A group is therefore complete as soon as its own bits have landed. As a block arrives, the receiver hands the bits up after each read; groups of its mix that are whole are decrypted (the block’s keystream is known from its period), checked by their own per-group parity in detect-only modes, decoded and written to the output, before the block’s code and tag are checked. Speculation is permitted only …
Si Reset™: Out-Of-Band Reset Of Ai Systems With Triggers Independent Of The Runtime Governor And Separate Safety And Audit Heartbeats, Edward D. H. Wang
Si Reset™: Out-Of-Band Reset Of Ai Systems With Triggers Independent Of The Runtime Governor And Separate Safety And Audit Heartbeats, Edward D. H. Wang
Defensive Publications Series
A system and method for stopping and safely restarting an AI system through a reset mechanism that is independent of the system's runtime governor. A reset controller on a separate safety plane, with its own power and its own communication channel, acts on its own set of triggers: readings from safety-grade sensors, an operator's emergency stop, an escalation request from the governor, and the loss, fault or tampering of the governor itself. Two heartbeats are kept separate: a safety heartbeat, local, out-of-band and with a hard deadline, whose loss engages fail-safe behavior; and an audit heartbeat to a ledger over …
Two-Receiver Bodypack That Decodes And Tag-Checks Both Copies Of Every Differing Block And Plays One Whole Copy, At A Fixed Playback Time, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
Two radios on one frequency, each a complete receiver delivering whole blocks (and partial blocks as they arrive) tagged with its branch number. When both copies of a period are present and differ, both are FEC-decoded and both are tag-checked, every time, independently of each other’s result. One whole copy plays, chosen by fixed rules: a copy that decodes beats one that does not; then a copy whose tag passes beats one whose tag fails; then the lower score, d(c,A)+d(c,B) in the BCH modes or the number of failed parity groups in the detect-only modes; ties go to the preferred …
Receive-Only Frequency Follow For A Wireless Audio Link: An Untimed Authenticated Retune Field, Carrier-Loss-Triggered Retune Of All Receivers Together, Own-History Re-Acquisition And A Keyed Sweep, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The operator chooses the new frequency. The rack keeps transmitting the full audio stream on the old carrier for a hold time that is a rack-local setting and is never transmitted. During the hold, the rack’s normal periodic beacon, at its normal rate and authenticated with its normal keyed tag, carries a retune field containing only the new frequency and the system’s key fingerprint. It carries no switch time, delay, countdown, remaining-beacon count or list of channels. A pack acts only on a beacon whose tag verifies under its stored key and whose fingerprint is its own. It stores the …

A Decentralized, Low-Capex Framework For Ambient-Temperature Npk Synthesis, Peter Stevenson
Defensive Publications Series
This paper presents a decentralized, low-CapEx alternative to the energy-intensive Haber-Bosch process by introducing a novel framework for ambient-temperature NPK synthesis and carbon-negative ceramic vitrification. It utilizes green processes that provide potential Carbon Tax benefits, existing raw materials that are currently considered waste, and biological conversions. The Executive Summary is more comprehensive.
Collar-Style Portable Radio Holster With Spring Retention Stops Locked By An Interchangeable Clip, John Bencic
Collar-Style Portable Radio Holster With Spring Retention Stops Locked By An Interchangeable Clip, John Bencic
Defensive Publications Series
A collar-style holster for a portable two-way radio surrounds the upper body of the radio and is installed by sliding it up from the battery end until internal stops contact the housing. Two spring retention stops, each a cantilevered tongue cut free from the holster's rear spine on three sides by a U-shaped slot, snap inward beneath a housing feature to prevent the collar from sliding down. Inserting a steel D-ring swivel clip or a belt clip into a U-shaped receiver on the spine places the clip body directly behind the spring stops, preventing them from flexing outward and locking …
A 38-Byte Audio Block With Unequal Bch Protection, Period-Indexed Keystream, A One-Byte Keyed Tag Checked After Correction, Re-Arm Gating, And Control Blocks Sent In Place Of Audio, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
Each block is a fixed bit layout derived from (link mode, layout). It holds an 8-bit descriptor, every mix’s codec bits for four 4-sample groups, per-mix codec resync fields, per-mix parity, and an 8-bit keyed tag. Protection is unequal: in the default mode a shortened binary BCH code per mix covers only the descriptor, the tag and the lowest-frequency sub-band codes of both channels; the other bands go unprotected. The tag is computed over the descriptor and the protected bits, then the BCH code is computed over the descriptor, the tag and the protected bits, then everything is XORed with …
Continuous Low-Latency Audio Stream Through A Transceiver's Synchronous Direct Mode: In-Band Framed Fixed Blocks, No Packet Headers Or Gaps, And A Host Deframer Clocked By The Transceiver, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
The transmitter clocks a never-ending bit stream into its transceiver’s synchronous direct mode. The stream is a back-to-back sequence of fixed blocks (330 bits, 3000 a second, 4-GFSK at about 1 Mb/s in the embodiment), each carrying its own sync word and a sequence (“period”) field in band, then its payload and a few guard bits. There are no packet headers and no gaps: every period carries audio, and control messages ride inside the blocks. The receiver’s transceiver runs in synchronous direct receive with its data and recovered clock on pins. A host-side bit port (a programmable I/O state machine …
Solid Ground: A Fractal, Governed Shared-Memory Methodology For People And Machines, Given To The Commons, Shannon J. Dobbs
Solid Ground: A Fractal, Governed Shared-Memory Methodology For People And Machines, Given To The Commons, Shannon J. Dobbs
Defensive Publications Series
A coordination methodology lets people and machine agents work together through legible shared records without anyone giving up control of their own. Its central element is an interlock: a single per-record access rule, evaluated by the data store, that at once withholds a participant's own context from any authority, governs the records a goal-directed learning loop reads and writes, and cannot be altered by anything a machine agent reads. The participant holds a user-held skill file, drawn out by an AI interview, that composes with an optional institution's own skill file and with the AI; the participant decides, per recipient, …

Defensive Publication: Extracorporeal Nanophotonic Lysis Circuit (Malt-Enlc) And Hfo_2 Dielectric Lens Architecture For T-All Eradication, Daniel Schramm
Defensive Publications Series
This defensive publication establishes prior art for a non-pharmacological, extracorporeal microfluidic circuit designed for the targeted mechanical eradication of circulating T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL) blasts.
The core architecture utilizes a specialized 16 nanometer Hafnium Oxide (HfO2) high-K dielectric nanophotonic lens to generate localized near-field optical gradients. The multi-physics computational proofs establish that this geometry generates a 280 piconewton optical trapping force, successfully arresting 15 micrometer target cells against 178.13 piconewtons of fluid kinetic drag within an ECMO-driven continuous flow (0.36 millimeters per second). Subsequent thermal lysis is contained strictly at 102.0 degrees Celsius via rapid heat-scrubbing through an integrated …
