HIV infection among people who inject drugs (PWID) remains a substantial public health burden, with Jakarta consistently reporting among the highest PWID-associated HIV prevalence in Indonesia. This study aimed to identify factors associated with HIV infection among PWID in Jakarta, utilizing secondary data from the 2023 Integrated Biological and Behavioral Survey (IBBS 2023). A cross-sectional study design was employed using secondary data from 261 PWID recruited in Jakarta. Bivariate associations were examined using Chi-square tests, and multivariate analysis was performed using modified Cox regression with a constant time parameter to estimate adjusted prevalence ratios (aPR) with 95% confidence intervals. Men who have sex with men (MSM) are a key population contributing to the largest proportion of new HIV infections among the adult population in Indonesia, accounting for 44% of new infections in 2024. The Association of American Colleges and Universities supports high impact practices including service-learning, global learning, research, and collaborative projects resulting in a university participating in a Collaboratory Community Assessment in order to strengthen an established partnership in a remote indigenous village in Guyana.

While most service learning project goals are established by the host, collaboratory projects can improve service-learning outcomes through a community engagement pedagogy that combines learning goals and community service in ways that enhance both student growth and the public good. Background: Infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) are exposed to a variety of stressors based on their health condition and length of hospital stay. Stress has also been associated with negative neurodevelopmental outcomes.1 Cumulative measures of NICU stress exist.2 Yet, stress caused by specific nurse caregiving activities are poorly understood.

The Common-Sense Model of Self-Regulation (CSM) offers a useful framework to explain how these recipients perceive, process, and respond to such health threats.

This study aimed to examine the readiness of biology teachers in West Palu District to implement the deep learning approach within the Merdeka Curriculum and to identify factors associated with their readiness. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews. The study involved all six biology teachers who were actively teaching at senior high schools in West Palu District. Teacher readiness was examined across cognitive, mental, and physical dimensions. The Revolving Door: A Content Analysis Of Presidential Transitions At North Carolina’S Historically Black Colleges And Universities, 1865-2026, Tara Shollenberger, Romaine Boyd

National reporting has framed presidential turnover at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) as a leadership crisis, yet few studies examine transition patterns systematically within a defined system of institutions over time. This study presents a quantitative content analysis of 206 presidencies across all 11 North Carolina HBCUs from 1865 to 2026, constructed from institutional histories, archival records, and contemporary news sources. Using descriptive analysis and Kaplan-Meier survival estimation, we examine tenure length, the rise of interim appointments, differences by institutional control (public versus private governance), and gender patterns in modern appointments. “Playing Mental Gymnastics”: Exploring Black Women College Athletes' Mental Health Experiences At Historically White Division I Universities, Ezinne D. Ofoegbu

Journal of Issues in Intercollegiate Athletics

Between 2002 and 2022, over 125 college athletes died by suicide, and Division I athletes represented 45% of these deaths. In 2023, Black women college athletes at Division I universities identified racism as a mental health stressor at a higher rate than their non-Black peers. The intersectional nature of social identities and athlete status may create gendered and racialized stressors that are uniquely experienced by Black women athletes. Piezoelectric ceramics are smart functional materials capable of converting mechanical energy into electrical energy and vice versa, making them indispensable for modern sensors, transducers, and precision actuators. Historically dominated by lead-containing materials like Pb(Zr,Ti)O₃ (PZT), strict environmental regulations and health concerns have driven an urgent global shift toward eco-friendly alternatives. Currently, bismuth sodium titanate (Bi₁/₂Na₁/₂TiO₃–BNT)-based solid solutions are at the forefront of lead-free piezoceramic trends due to their excellent polarization and electromechanical coupling properties.
