Baghdad Science Journal
Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures were synthesized using reactive DC magnetron sputtering, and their structural, optical, morphological, and antibacterial properties were systematically investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed the formation of single-phase hexagonal wurtzite ZnO crystals with high crystallinity. The average crystallite size was estimated using the Scherrer equation. Field emission scanning electron microscopy analysis showed that the gas mixing ratio plays a key role in morphology control, with dominant particle sizes ranging from 40 to 50 nm across all tested ZnO samples. Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy confirmed the high degree of purity of the synthesized ZnO nanostructures and showed Zn and O …

I-V Characteristics Of Corona Discharge Of The Upper-Lower Electrode Arrangement, Asep Yoyo Wardaya, Zaenul Muhlisin, Isnain Gunadi, Pandji Triadyaksa, Muhammad Nur, Susilo Hadi
Baghdad Science Journal
Corona discharge characterization is essential for industrial plasma devices such as electrostatic precipitators, where effective sharp electrode configurations can generate high discharge currents at relatively low potential differences efficiently and measurably. This study aims to determine the characteristic equation of the current-voltage (I-V) curve for DC corona plasma with both electrodes sharp, which represents the optimal condition for producing corona discharge. A geometric approach based on modified capacitance by introducing a current multiplier factor (k) on the sharp electrode surface is implemented. Corona discharge is assumed to depend on the maximum local electric field at the electrode tip, while k …

Construction And Application Of Clinical Evidence Framework For Brain-Computer Interface, Wenxiu Qi, Cheng Zhou
Construction And Application Of Clinical Evidence Framework For Brain-Computer Interface, Wenxiu Qi, Cheng Zhou
Bulletin of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Chinese Version)
Brain-computer interface systems are emerging neurotechnologies that are gradually moving from laboratory research toward clinical application. However, their inherent features, including small sample sizes, heterogeneous technical pathways, and rapid product iteration, make it difficult to integrate safety and efficacy data across studies or to conduct meaningful cross-study comparisons. These challenges not only hinder the cumulative development of evidence in evidence-based medicine, but also complicate the assessment of clinical access and regulatory review. In addition, subjective evidence, such as patient experience, remains insufficiently captured in existing evaluation frameworks. It is therefore necessary to examine the structure of evidence for brain-computer interface …
