This study aims to identify the efficiency of cognitive restructuring counseling in improving the academic honesty of senior high school students. Purpose: The aim of this article is threefold: to gain detailed insights into academic employees’ experiences and perceptions of human resource (HR) practices; to identify the challenges and opportunities perceived by academic actors in these practices; and to provide recommendations for further research.

Design/methodology/approach: The study involved 17 key informants from Polish (8), Maltese (5), and Finnish (4) universities. Data were analysed using semantic thematic analysis, resulting in a rich and nuanced understanding of the experiences shared by participants.

John Hughes’ tragedy The Siege of Damascus (1720) seeks to bridge the divide between east and west, between Islam and Christianity, by advancing an understanding of a sensus communis in terms of sympathy, honor, and mutual respect. I argue that this articulation of a sensus communis relies on how the play conceptualizes ‘genuine religion’ in global terms. It does this primarily by universalizing the project of Anglican clergy to champion Christianity as a civil religion. The play thus points to the importance of enlightenment efforts to reconceptualize religion for a genealogy of the sensus communis.

This article maps the field of artificial intelligence in higher education (HEI-AI) from an institutional and management perspective. We draw on 52,270 peer-reviewed articles and reviews indexed in Web of Science and Scopus between 1959 and 2025. Using the bibliometrix package and its biblioshiny interface in R, we combine descriptive indicators with science-mapping techniques, including co-authorship and co-citation networks, keyword co-occurrence, thematic mapping and thematic evolution. The initial corpus of 94,845 records was cleaned by merging the two databases, removing duplicates and restricting the sample to full-length journal articles and reviews that explicitly address AI in higher education.

In this paper I examine the syntax and semantics of English nonfactive verbs, bare nominals, and small clauses through the colloquial constructions it’s giving and screams+NP. I aim to explain the formality of nonfactives with DP small clauses in American English, as well as the informality of bare nominals in adjectival positions. First I propose a semantics for two nonfactive heads: v_ATT and v_EVI.
