Background. Based on the 2023 GSHS data, 7.1% of adolescents aged 13–17 in Indonesia have had sexual intercourse, of which 66.2% are male and 33.8% are female. Comparative Competitiveness Of Ugandan And Ethiopian Coffee In International Markets, Aaron Ecel, Robert Muwanga, Bob Ssekiziyivu, Oliver Nakanwagi

Business Management Review

Purpose: This study compares the global competitiveness of Ugandan and Ethiopian coffee exports, analyzing export performance, market dynamics, and structural determinants to inform policy interventions.

Design/Methodology/Approach: Using quantitative analysis of 2012-2023 trade data from UN Comtrade and ITC Trade Map, we apply Constant Market Share Analysis (CMSA) and Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) metrics.

Findings: Uganda demonstrated stronger growth in export value (156% from 2012–2023) and quantity (7% annual growth), driven by commodity composition effects (72.8%). However, its lower unit values ($2,578/unit) reflect reliance on bulk Robusta exports. Ethiopia, despite stagnant volume growth, commands premium prices ($5,186/unit) due to specialty Arabica …

In 2022, the Province of DKI Jakarta ranked fourth with the highest coverage of pneumonia in toddlers (53.2%), exceeding Indonesia's toddler pneumonia coverage (38.78%). This scientific article provides a systematic analysis of the composition of colored wastewater generated in cotton, wool, and silk textile enterprises, the sources of pollution, and modern physicochemical treatment methods. Wastewater formed during bleaching, dyeing, and wet processing is characterized by high concentrations of dyes, surfactants, organic and inorganic compounds, as well as colloidal particles. Tanzania has adopted several institutional and legal frameworks to advance gender equality in higher learning. These include, national gender policies, affirmative action provisions and establishment of gender mainstreaming structures at universities. This paper examines how these frameworks have been implemented at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) and the extent to which they have bridged gender disparities in academia. Using secondary data and drawing from feminist institutionalism, the study explores how formal rules and informal practices interact to influence gender outcomes. Working in interdisciplinary groups, students generate image datasets using gender-neutral professional terms and analyze representations of gender, race, and age.
