Unprecedented violent conflicts occurred worldwide during the 20th century. Millions of lives lost, infrastructure destroyed, and generational effects on post-conflict nations. Meanwhile, international humanitarian law was developed to reduce conflict damage. Government parties to International Humanitarian Law (IHL) conventions have enforceable obligations to implement, promote, and perform their duties, helping to promote their wider recognition and enforcement. During the Kosovo conflict, Serbian military commanders and the police violated international humanitarian law by breaking fundamental precepts. In the context of the digital economy, cross-border data governance cooperation between China and Malaysia is constrained by two factors: differences in domestic data protection laws and the lack of coherence among existing multilateral frameworks. Prior scholarship primarily examines cross-border data governance through single-treaty frameworks, while the role of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as an institutional intermediary has not been systematically analysed. This article examines how Indonesia and the European Union (EU) approach the challenges posed by AI driven content creation and potential copyright infringement. Through doctrinal and comparative legal analysis, this study explores regulatory frameworks, liability questions, and enforcement mechanisms in both jurisdictions. The analysis reveals that Indonesia's Copyright Law No. 28 of 2014 remains anthropocentric, lacking recognition of AI generated works and mechanisms for regulating AI training using copyrighted materials. Digital technology has expanded women’s opportunities for expression and participation, while simultaneously enabling new and intensified forms of gender-based violence. In India, technology-facilitated violence against women (TFVW) has increased in scale and complexity, yet existing legal frameworks remain inadequately equipped to address its multidimensional harms. This article identifies a significant gap in Indian law, arguing that the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Information Technology Act (IT Act) insufficiently recognise psychological harm, informational privacy violations, and non-sexual online abuse, while continuing to rely on patriarchal notions of consent, modesty, and public morality. Tactile perception is significant for robotic operation in unstructured environments. Whisker-based sensors offer lightweight bio-inspired solutions, yet most rely on single-whisker sensing and are limited by passive interaction and constrained functionality. Here we present a circular array of eight independently actuated whiskers, each driven by a pulse-switchable permanent magnet and tracked by a camera. This design enables simultaneous multi-point sensing and coordinated actuation, supporting diverse functions. Quantitative analyses demonstrate accurate pixel-to-physical mapping, consistent pixel-to-force characterization, and long-term repeatability. Sexual And Bystander Harassment Among Part-Time Employees: Effects On Work Attitudes, Stress, And Withdrawal, Robert T. Hitlan

This study investigated the impact of sexual and bystander harassment experiences on work attitudes, stress, withdrawal, and psychological well-being of part-time employees. Participants included 314 female employees who worked part-time in their organizations. All participants completed a computer-administered workplace experience survey assessing various aspects of their work environment, including personal and bystander harassment experiences, work-related attitudes (supervisor satisfaction, coworker satisfaction, and general job stress), work behaviors (work and job withdrawal), and psychological well-being. Experiences of sexual harassment and bystander harassment were predicted to be negatively related to satisfaction and psychological health and positively related to stress and withdrawal. Multiplex immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry (mIF/IHC) are increasingly employed antibody-based technologies that use tissue sparingly and facilitate the detection of co-localized or neighboring biomarkers. Specifically, these platforms enable spatial analyses of the tumor microenvironment as well as extended applications, for example, describing normal tissue anatomy, autoimmunity, infectious diseases, etc. mIF/IHC has greatly enhanced biomarker discovery efforts, and a growing number of studies suggest superiority to traditional IHC. Standardization of staining approaches, reporting of image analysis strategies and resultant data is critical for facilitating cross-study comparisons, validation, deployment, and generalization of findings. The publication presents difficulties in determining the meaning of the legal definition of the term “consumer” given in Article 22¹ of the Civil Code. The article also attempts to answer the question whether in this area, where the meaning of the above definition is not in doubt, this scope is optimal for the needs of economic turnover. Equilibrium shoreline change models with calibrated, time-invariant free parameters have demonstrated good skill in hindcasting shoreline evolution at sites dominated by cross-shore sediment transport. However, their performance can be biased by the specific conditions present during the calibration period. In this study, a dual parameter-state ensemble Kalman filter (EnKF) was applied to track non-stationarity in model free parameters at three sites along the west coast of Europe. Introducing time-varying parameters did not substantially improve performance relative to an already well-calibrated stationary model. The beating of cilia on multi-ciliated cells (MCCs) is essential for normal development and homeostasis in animals. But while the structure and function of basal bodies and axonemes have received significant attention recently, the distal tips of MCC cilia remain relatively poorly defined. Here, we characterize the molecular organization of the distal tip of vertebrate MCC cilia, characterizing two distinct domains occupied by distinct protein constituents. Using frog, mouse, and human MCCs, we find that two largely uncharacterized proteins, Ccdc78 and Ccdc33, occupy a previously undefined region at the extreme distal tip, and these are required for the normal organization …

BACKGROUND: Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) is the most frequently observed autoimmune neuropathy in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). While intravenous immune globulin (IVIG) is a well-established treatment for CIDP, its efficacy in diabetic patients remains uncertain due to their exclusion from prior randomized trials, largely because of concerns about confounding diabetic axonal neuropathy.

OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the effectiveness of IVIG therapy in CIDP patients with diabetes mellitus (CIDP-DM) compared to those without diabetes (CIDP).

DESIGN: Multi-center, prospective, observational study after at least 3 monthly infusions of IVIG therapy.
