Underwater connectivity and flow paths in the saturated zone of hypogenic sulfuric acid speleogenesis (SAS) karst remain unclear, despite sustained research over the past 30 years. Being regarded as sources of pristine H₂S-charged water, narrow inflow conduits called "feeders" are typically considered primary sources of water and hotspots of speleogenesis. In southeastern Albania, there is a newly discovered active SAS karst system comprising numerous caves and springs. By examining respectability politics, the rise of the Black is Beautiful movement, and the Black Panthers’ visual strategies, this research explores how clothing and style reflected shifting approaches to resistance. It argues that Black Americans used fashion to challenge Eurocentric standards, reclaim heritage, and express pride, leaving a legacy of empowerment that continues to influence social movements.

During the 1930s, New York City stood at the center of media innovation and cultural influence. It was also the center of the continuing opioid epidemic and a pivotal site for the reception and promotion of addiction films. This article argues that Depression-era films, The Struggle (1931), Narcotic (1933), and Assassin of Youth (1938), reflected economic, political, and moral anxieties surrounding drug abuse. Using National Board of Review records, studio pressbooks, and contemporary periodicals, this study examines how cinematic portrayals of addiction influenced ideologies, criminalized users, and deepened social stigma.

Introduction: Intramuscular hemangiomas (IH) are rare, benign vascular tumours that account for less than 1% of all hemangiomas, with the plantar region being an extremely uncommon site. Their clinical presentation often mimics other soft tissue lesions, leading to diagnostic challenges.

Case Presentation: We report a case of a 57-year-old female presenting with a 25-year history of progressive swelling on the plantar surface of the left foot, initially diagnosed as a dermoid cyst based on clinical examination and ultrasonography. Synchronous fistula-in-ano, a rare entity with multiple fistulous tracts opening and closing simultaneously, presents significant diagnostic and surgical challenges. Conventional management may risk sphincter injury and recurrence. Ayurveda describes Ksharasutra therapy, a para-surgical intervention, which offers simultaneous cutting, drainage, and healing of fistulous tracts while preserving anal sphincter function. This case series includes three patients who presented with pain, swelling, and pus discharge from the perianal region. Bilateral optic disc edema is called papilledema when it results from increased intracranial pressure. It is important to perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain to rule out lesions that obstruct or alter the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). If the MRI is normal, other organic causes of bilateral disc swelling are excluded, and a diagnosis of idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is considered, particularly in young female patients. This paper describes the conceptual underpinnings and implementation process of an integrated teaching program for dental undergraduate students over a decade, incorporating diverse subjects across different years of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) curriculum. Conceptual frameworks can help ‘illuminate and magnify’ ideas and provide a roadmap. The integration was guided by Kotter’s Change Management Model and Kern’s Six-Step Approach to curricular change. Additionally, learning theories, particularly social learning theories, were employed to enhance knowledge retention and application. This paper provides a systematic overview of the curriculum integration process and the challenges faced, offering a roadmap for other institutions.

Aims and objectives: This study was performed to determine the association between histomorphological features, clinical and laboratory parameters in lupus nephritis and to study the significance of peritubular capillary C4d immunostaining in lupus nephritis.

This paper presents a DT framework developed to improve the energy performance of the Podium Office Building in Cairo Festival City, New Cairo, Egypt. This study introduces an operational evaluation of a deep learning–driven ionospheric modeling system tailored for Egypt, designed to overcome the limitations of conventional empirical approaches in data-sparse regions. The 3D-DNN Ion-EG model was trained on 737,110 COSMIC-2 radio occultation profiles (2020–2024), integrating spatial temporal coordinates with geophysical drivers to generate high-resolution threedimensional electron density distributions. Validation against the MANS CORS station (Mansoura University) demonstrated strong predictive skill (R2 = 0.9337; r = 0.970) under independent testing. This study explored how female public-school teachers (K-12) in the Cayman Islands experienced and managed work-life balance within the intersecting contexts of gender, culture, and institutional demands. Guided by phenomenological principles and framed through role theory, the study examined how participants defined work-life balance, the challenges they encountered, and the strategies they employed to sustain equilibrium between their professional and personal responsibilities. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with female teachers across the public education system, allowing their lived experiences to inform the analysis. Leadership transitions in nonprofit organizations present both challenges and opportunities, particularly in rural community-based theatres where organizational identity is often deeply connected to individual leaders. This study employs narrative inquiry, guided by the lens of Feminist Pragmatism, to explore leadership change at Playhouse in the Park, a long-standing rural community theatre in Murray, Kentucky. Through interviews, reflections, and observations, the study identifies five emergent themes shaping directors’ experiences: expectations, programming content, personality, relational expectations, and the balance between cautiousness and freedom.
