Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is becoming increasingly essential for Ghanaian banks to reconcile financial growth with ethical, legal, and civic obligations amid escalating societal expectations. The specific research problem was that the extent to which Ghanaian banks employed big data analytics (BDA) to boost multidimensional CSR performance encompassing economic, ethical-legal, and philanthropic dimensions was unknown. The architecture of the Islamic world encompasses both religious and secular buildings that are unified by the use of a common architectural language, which includes architectural elements such as minarets, domes and arches, ornamental details, and vaulting with the use of muqarnas. The study provides a broad overview of the development of Islamic architecture, focusing on Damascus, the early Islamic period, the mid-Islamic period and the late Islamic period. The late Islamic period includes Ottoman art, with architecture influenced by Byzantine, Persian, Armenian, and Mamluk artefacts, but differs from their predecessors. The epithelial barriers, which include the skin, the gut, and the respiratory lining, play a crucial role in protecting the body from pathogens and environmental threats. Many harmful toxins are increasingly part of modern life. The increase in usage of these damaging agents in conjunction with the increase in allergic inflammatory conditions suggests that the “epithelial barrier hypothesis”—the concept that damage to the epithelia by external agents can result in dysbiosis, inflammation, and allergy—may explain the rise in these conditions seen in the developed world.

Background and objectives: Stiff person syndrome spectrum disorder (SPSD) is a rare autoimmune disorder characterized by progressive muscle stiffness and painful spasms with an estimated prevalence of 1-2 cases per million people. Population-based epidemiologic studies are lacking because of both poor patient capture and the lack of standardized diagnostic criteria. Objectives of this study were to describe the incidence and prevalence of SPSD within the University of Colorado Health (UCH) system and apply previously proposed published criteria for SPSD within this population.

Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS) is the most frequently mutated oncogene in lung adenocarcinoma, with G12C and G12V being the most predominant forms. Recent breakthroughs in KRASG12C inhibitors have transformed the clinical management of patients with the G12C mutation and advanced our understanding of the function of this mutation. However, little is known about the targeted disruption of KRASG12V, partly due to a lack of specific inhibitors. Here, we leverage the degradation tag (dTAG) system to develop a KRASG12V-transgenic mouse model. Pseudoachondroplasia (PSACH), a severe dwarfing condition characterized by impaired skeletal growth and early joint degeneration, results from mutations in cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP). These mutations disrupt normal protein folding, leading to the accumulation of misfolded COMP in chondrocytes. The MT-COMP mouse is a murine model of PSACH that expresses D469del human COMP in response to doxycycline and replicates the PSACH chondrocyte and clinical pathology. The basis for the mutant-COMP pathology involves endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress signaling through the PERK/eIF2α/CHOP pathway. Preclinical data suggest a rationale for combining CPX-351, a dual-drug liposomal encapsulation of daunorubicin and cytarabine, with venetoclax, a B-cell lymphoma-2 inhibitor. This phase 1b study evaluated lower-intensity CPX-351 combined with venetoclax in adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) considered unfit/ineligible for intensive chemotherapy. In a dose-exploration phase using a 3+3 design, patients received stepwise dosing of CPX-351 IV on days 1 and 3 plus venetoclax 400 mg orally on days 2 to 21 per cycle to determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) for this combination. This disclosure describes AI Code Canaries, a novel approach to source code protection using dynamically generated, context-aware code snippets (canaries) embedded within the codebase to proactively detect unauthorized code leakage. This method addresses limitations of traditional watermarking and other techniques by offering finer-grained detection, increased resilience to code transformations, and immediate leak identification. Unlike traditional watermarking methods, which struggle with fine-grained detection and are vulnerable to code transformations, AI Code Canaries offer granular detection of even small code fragments, increased resilience through dynamic generation, and proactive leak identification.

Traditional manual documentation methods are inefficient, error-prone, and often result in outdated information. Techniques are presented herein to address these challenges by leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate the generation of precise and reliable documents by associating data with well-defined role-based source information. The impact of this solution goes beyond generating documentation for new features; it can also be extended to enable targeted stakeholder interactions, to identify speakers in recorded conversations, and to classify unclassified dialogues.

Public Disclosure And Its Impact On Ceo Compensation: Evidence Of Media Influence, Xin Zhao

I examine the effect of the AFL-CIO executive paywatch identification on future CEO compensation. My findings indicate that the public disclosure of CEO compensation has a negative impact on subsequent changes in CEO pay. Additionally, I find that CEOs with ex-ante overpayment have experienced changes in their subsequent compensation. This paper contributes to the literature by documenting that firms respond to negative press coverage of CEO compensation, even after controlling for the mean reversion effect associated with high CEO pay.

Financial literacy is a very important dimension in making financial decisions, and this research highlighted the direct and indirect impacts that financial literacy exerts on spending behavior. Data is collected from 317 respondents using a structured questionnaire measuring financial literacy, financial behavior, and spending behavior.
