The purpose of this study was to understand how fine art teachers viewed the quality of their programs within public school settings. The purpose was to also learn how funding can potentially affect the quality of a fine arts program from the stories of public high school fine arts educators. Goodson’s theory of educational change was used to explain teachers’ happiness and job satisfaction with their programs, thanks to the levels of support and funding, and how that can affect the quality of their fine arts programs. Journal of International Women's Studies

Theater proposes an alternative reality and different possible identities offering a framework of how representation works in performances, and it further provides an understanding of the transformative potential of enactment. The attempt to retrieve and re-write women’s histories through performances develops a culture of reconstructive capacities that resists absorption into the dominant culture. In theater, women have asserted their own vision and exercised their own viewpoints, expanding feminist space and communicating with spectators by employing publicly encoded signs. The Duterte administration, which lasted from 2016 to 2022, incited a multitude of human rights violations against the marginalized groups of Philippine society, namely women, and the poor. It was discovered and established through literature that these injustices can primarily be attributed to the former president’s hypermasculinity, a manifestation of hegemonic masculinity in the contemporary era. The fleeting nature of life and the resulting transformation of inhabited spaces into artefacts that take on different socio-spatial forms through temporary shelters such as cabins, tents, and trailers is a major theme explored particularly in the 1960s and 1970s that introduced the concept of time into the formation of transient communities.
