Neutrosophic Systems with Applications
In the paper, neutrosophic statistical analysis of temperature data of different cities in the southeastern Anatolia region of Turkey is given. The neutrosophic mean and neutrosophic coefficient of variation are computed using the temperature data. From the analysis, it is concluded that the temperatures of Mardin and Şanlıurfa cities are more consistent than the other cities in Turkey. In addition, the neutrosophic results are compared with results under classical statistics. Based on the comparative study, it can be concluded that neutrosophic statistical results are more adequate, flexible, and more informative than classical statistics.

The Impact Of Individual Techno-Characteristics On Information Privacy Concerns In The Diffusion Of Mobile Contact Tracing, Jiesen Lin, Dapeng Liu, Lemuria Carter
KSU Proceedings on Cybersecurity Education, Research and Practice
In the wake of the global health crisis, mobile contact tracing applications have emerged as important tools in managing disease spread. However, their effectiveness heavily relies on mass adoption, significantly influenced by the public's information privacy concerns. To date, systematic examination of how these privacy concerns relate to the innovation adopter categories in mobile contact tracing remains sparse. Furthermore, the influence of individual techno-characteristics on these concerns is to be explored. This research seeks to fill these gaps. Drawing on the diffusion of innovation theory, we examine the impact of the key techno-characteristics—adopter category, propensity for identification misrepresentation, and exposure …

Brains do not reason as digital computers do. Computers reason in clear steps with statements that are either true or false, while humans reason with vague terms of common sense. Neutrosophy is a new branch of philosophy and machine intelligence that deals with neutralities, specifically the idea of indeterminacy that is evident and experienced in our everyday lives. Indeterminacy is interpreted as everything that falls between a concept, idea, statement, declaration, etc. and its opposite. The fundamental thesis of neutrosophy is to employ neutrosophic logic, an extension of fuzzy logic, to incorporate fuzzy truth into complex schemes of formal reasoning. …

Neutrosophic Systems with Applications
Since the inception of operations research, linear programming has received the attention of researchers in this field due to the many areas of its use. The focus was on the methods used to find the optimal solution for linear models. The direct simplex method, with its three basic stages, begins by writing the linear model in standard form and then finding a basic solution that is improved according to the simplex steps until We get the optimal solution, but we encounter many linear models that do not give us a basic solution after we put it in a standard form, …

Neutrosophic Systems with Applications
As a generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, single-valued neutrosophic sets have certain advantages in solving indeterminate and inconsistent information. In this paper, we study the fuzzy inference full implication method based on single-valued neutrosophic t-representable t-norm. Firstly, single-valued neutrosophic fuzzy inference triple I principles for fuzzy modus ponens and fuzzy modus tollens are given. Then, single-valued neutrosophic R-type triple I solutions for FMP and FMT are given. Finally, the robustness of the full implication triple I method based on the left-continuous single-valued neutrosophic t-representable t-norm is investigated. As a special case of the main results, the sensitivity of full implication …

Statistical tests are very important for researchers to make decisions. In particular, when the tests are non- parametric, they are of greater importance because they can be applied to a wide range of data sets regardless of knowing the distribution of these data. Researchers are therefore racing to obtain efficient tests for making good decisions based on the results of these tests. In this study, NBU (2)L was used based on the goodness of fit approach to present an efficient statistical test. The efficiency of the proposed test was computed, and the results were compared to those of other tests. …

As many readers may know, graph theory is a fundamental branch of mathematics that explores networks made up of nodes and edges, focusing on their paths, structures, and properties [196]. A planar graph is one that can be drawn on a plane without any edges intersecting, ensuring planarity. Outerplanar graphs, a subset of planar graphs, have all their vertices located on the boundary of the outer face in their planar embedding. In recent years, outerplanar graphs have been formally defined within the context of fuzzy graphs. To capture uncertain parameters and concepts, various graphs such as fuzzy, neutrosophic, Turiyam, and …

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a dangerous illness that strikes the central nervous system. The body's immune system attacks myelin (an entity above the nerves) and impairs brain-to-body communication. To date, it is not possible to cure MS. However, symptoms can be managed, and treatments can be provided if the disease is diagnosed early. Hence, supervised machine learning (ML) algorithms and several hyperparameter tuning techniques, including Bayesian optimization, have been utilized in this study to predict MS in patients. Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis has been conducted before training the classifiers. The most essential markers were chosen using a technique called …

As many readers may know, graph theory is a fundamental branch of mathematics that examines networks consisting of nodes and edges, with a focus on their paths, structures, and properties [157]. A Fuzzy Graph extends this concept by assigning a membership degree between 0 and 1 to each edge and vertex, capturing the level of uncertainty. Expanding on this idea, the Turiyam Neutrosophic Graph was introduced as an extension of both Neutrosophic and Fuzzy Graphs. Plithogenic graphs, in turn, offer a powerful approach for managing uncertainty. In this paper, we explore the relationships among various graph classes, including Plithogenic graphs, …

In practical life, we encounter many systems that cannot be studied directly, either due to their high cost or because some of these systems cannot be studied directly. Therefore, we resort to the simulation method, which depends on applying the study to systems similar to real ones and then projecting these results if they are suitable for the real system. The simulation process requires a good understanding of probability distributions and the methods used to transform random numbers that follow a regular distribution in the field [0,1] into random variables that follow them, so that we can achieve the greatest …

In this paper we present the possibility of partial collisions between unmatter with matter, and unmatter with antimatter, and two or more different types of unmatters colliding between themselves to create high energy. In general, the collisions between unmatter with matter, or with antimatter, or with other type of unmatter, because being partial, they release less energy than the matter-unmatter collision which is a total collision. But the unmatter may be easier to produce in laboratory than antimatter.

As we argue in a previous article, the labyrinthine worlds of Jorge Luis Borges are more than captivating narratives; they are portals to a deeper understanding of existence. By weaving elements of science-fiction fantasy with philosophical and ethical inquiries, Borges's short stories bridge the seemingly disparate realms of physics and the humanities, offering fertile ground for contemporary physics research. The present-day universe consists of galaxies, galaxy clusters, one-dimensional filaments and two-dimensional sheets or pancakes, all of which combine to form the cosmic web. The so called ”Zeldovich pancakes”, are very difficult to observe, because their overdensity is only slightly greater …

In the study of uncertainty, concepts such as fuzzy sets [113], fuzzy graphs [79], and neutrosophic sets [88] have been extensively investigated. This paper focuses on a novel logical framework known as Upside-Down Logic, which systematically transforms truths into falsehoods and vice versa by altering contexts, meanings, or perspectives. The concept was first introduced by F. Smarandache in [99]. To contribute to the growing interest in this area, this paper presents a mathematical definition of Upside-Down Logic, supported by illustrative examples, including applications related to the Japanese language. Additionally, it introduces and explores Contextual Upside-Down Logic, an advanced extension that …

The article explores the shift from classical binary logic (true and false) to a more complex landscape of logical frameworks. It introduces logical pluralism, which suggests that no single, universally accepted system of logic exists. The paper connects this idea to neutrosophy, a framework that extends fuzzy logic by incorporating a third value: indeterminacy. This triadic approach, where every proposition has a degree of truth (T), falsity (F), and indeterminacy (I), is particularly useful for managing incomplete or contradictory information. The author argues that different logical systems, like different tools, are suited for different problems, and that the …

Interaction among light and water molecules have baffled scientists for many decades, and even centuries. In this regards, photons in the visible spectrum, where bulk water normally doesn't absorb light, can surprisingly cleave off large water clusters from the water-vapor interface, according to a recent study by Tu and Chen (2023). This discovery, termed the "photomolecular effect," opens exciting possibilities for not only revolutionizing renewable energy but also paving the way for a more integrated-ensemble approach to health management (cf. Smarandache & Christianto, 2010; Tu & Chen, 2023; Tu et al., 2024). In a sense, other than with green or …
