REID (Research and Evaluation in Education)
The study aims to unearth public perceptions of the label of favorite schools after the implementation of student admission reform in Indonesia, namely the zoning system, and to explore the underlying causes. Adopting a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, this study involved participants from nine provincial education services, nine regency education services, 72 teachers, and 72 parents. Data collected through in-depth interviews and focus groups reveal three distinctive perceptions of favorite schools. The first view posits that after the implementation of the zoning system, the quality among schools is relatively similar, indicating that the new policy is effective in …

The North American Accounting Studies
Students today demonstrate strong aptitude for using online learning resources resulting from most completing high school during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learning resources available for instructional design include faculty created, publisher provided, and a plethora of online videos. This study aimed to understand if scores on graded assignments differ between online (OL) and face-to-face (F2F) sections of entry-level accounting, differences in student learning resources access, and if access correlates with performance on graded assignments. This study explores the impact of workplace loneliness on the psychological well-being of Generation Z and Millennial employees in the Greater Jakarta area, considering the role of perceived organisational support and resilience as moderating variables. Using a cross-sectional survey approach with 334 respondents, this study found that loneliness at work negatively affects psychological well-being. In contrast, POS and resilience have a significant positive influence. Resilience was also shown to moderate the relationship between workplace loneliness and psychological well-being, strengthening individuals' ability to deal with loneliness constructively. This study aims to understand the factors influencing purchase intention in premium online dating applications. The main focus is on performance expectancy, effort expectancy, privacy risk, habit, enjoyment, social value, and quality. An estimated 300 million people died globally from smallpox in the 20th century alone. There was very much a North/South divide in the existence of the disease in that period, with countries across South America, Africa and Asia recording the majority of cases. In 1966 the World Health Organization launched an intensive effort to finally eliminate the disease. The last known endemic case of smallpox was reported in Somalia in 1977, and that outbreak was promptly contained. Introduction. The mortality rate of COVID-19 patients in Indonesia is high with manifestations of cardiac complications. Echocardiographic evaluation can help identify cardiac functional and structural disorders associated with patient mortality. Gastric lymphoma often presents with non-specific symptoms, contributing to delayed diagnosis. Gastric Outlet Obstruction (GOO) is a potential complication that may occur in patients with gastric lymphoma. A 62-year-old male patient presented with persistent weakness, nausea, and vomiting. His symptoms began with long-standing abdominal discomfort, which had not been further evaluated. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) revealed GOO secondary to a mass, which, after pathological and immunohistochemical evaluation, was diagnosed as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). The patient was subsequently given a nasojejunal feeding tube and treated with R-CHOP chemotherapy (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and oral prednisone). Even after nasopharyngeal Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) swab investigation revealed no COVID-19 infection, some individuals continue to have long COVID symptoms. According to a research published in 2022, 4.5 – 36.6% of patients had symptoms following a COVID-19 infection more than three months. Long COVID symptoms may impact multiple organ systems, including the cardiovascular system. Chest pain, palpitations, arrhythmia, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, and other symptoms are possible appeared in long COVID. D-Dimer, echocardiography, CT scan, cMRI and other supportive test showed meaningful results. The researchers developed a deep learning-based smart healthcare monitoring system based on IoT and cloud technology. The proposed system integrates IoT sensors for real-time collection of physiological data, such as ECG, blood pressure, and heart rate, with cloud computing for secure storage and advanced analytics. Utilizing the Bi-LSTM model with fuzzy inference systems (FIS), the framework enhances the accuracy and efficiency of heart disease prediction. Cloud-MANET environments require a system to balance load and control congestion. As a result of integrating real-time network metrics with predictive traffic algorithms, the proposed model optimizes the management of dynamic topologies, network bandwidth constraints, and fluctuating traffic loads. In addition to energy-aware multi-path routing, the framework incorporates adaptive congestion control mechanisms to ensure data transmission is efficient and stable. This algorithm provides higher packet delivery ratios, reduces end-to-end delays, and increases throughput over existing algorithms, according to the evaluation results. Hybrid Cloud-MANET systems can benefit from this approach by optimizing resource utilization and network performance.

In this paper, the Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning algorithms that incorporate regressor are integrated to improve precision agriculture. Data from Internet of Things sensors like temperature sensors, humidity sensors, and soil sensors can be collected and analysed using machine learning algorithms like Support Vector Machines (SVMs) and Multilayer Perceptrons (MLPs). Long COVID (LC) is characterized by prolonged, diverse symptoms affecting multiple organ systems, including but not limiting to the immune, neurological, and cardiovascular systems. This mini review explores the biological abnormalities underpinning LC, focusing on immune dysregulation, chronic inflammation, oxidative stress, and mitochondrial dysfunction as key contributors to its persistence. Recent studies indicate that LC may involve sustained elevation of pro-inflammatory cytokines, autoimmunity, and T-cell exhaustion, all of which perpetuate a state of low-grade chronic inflammation. This investigation examined 100 individuals who had symptoms of acute inflammation affecting the cornea, conjunctiva, and eyelids. Hilla City's private eye clinic welcomed the patients. For 18--24 hours at 37°C, the materials were cultured in both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. Colony morphology, microscopy, and biochemical testing were used to diagnose Staphylococcus aureus infections. The specific positive cards of the Vitek 2 system were used to isolate these isolates.
