Ensemble Learning Models For Large-Scale Time Series Forecasting In Supply Chain, Minjuan Zhang

Dissertations

Machine learning and AI techniques are transforming supply chain forecasting, driven by the expanding availability of data assets. These advanced methods offer powerful opportunities to optimize management processes, reduce operational costs, and enhance strategic decision-making, which is crucial for enterprise success. However, conventional statistical approaches, such as Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Models (ARIMA), dynamic regression, and Unobserved Component Models (UCMs)—which have long dominated time series forecasting—often fall short in accuracy and scalability. These traditional models face limitations in batch processing, handling large-scale data, addressing uncertainty-induced disruptions, and synchronizing demand-supply scenarios.

To address these challenges, a novel class of AI-powered ensemble …

An Energy-Efficient Clustering Technique Of Heterogeneous And Homogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks, Ahmad Alkhayyat, Rohit Sharma

NJF Intelligent Engineering Journal

The technology of wireless sensor networks (WSN) has recently gained widespread recognition as an emerging one. A WSN consists of a set of sensors powered by batteries. Inaccessible locations usually make it difficult to replace or recharge sensors' batteries. These networks are plagued by energy consumption, which is the main problem. The clustering algorithms are remarkably effective in dealing with such problems in this regard. As a result, this technique appears to help reduce node energy consumption, which ultimately increases the network's lifespan. Heterogeneous and homogeneous clustering algorithms exist. In homogeneous clustering algorithms, all nodes have the same technical characteristics, …

Relocating Inclusionary Housing Obligations To The New Capital Nusantara: Legal And Policy Implications, Muhammad Ilham Hermawan, Nasywa Ananda Herliana

Indonesia Law Review

The philosophical meaning of balanced housing lies in achieving a harmonious and equitable life among various social strata. To realize this philosophical essence, regulatory engineering is required, aimed at fulfilling the goals of balanced housing. The obligation for balanced housing is theoretically known in the literature of several countries as an inclusionary housing policy. Triggered by the need for residential development in the new capital city (IKN), the Government has "relocated" the previously unfulfilled balanced housing obligation to IKN. The IKN Law explicitly regulates “exceptions to the provisions of legislation in the field of housing and residential areas.” There …
