For this purpose, data were collected from 21 local stakeholders in Batman province by semi-structured interview method, which is one of the qualitative data collection techniques. The data of the study were obtained between 25.10.2023 and 25.11.2023. The data were analyzed with the help of the MAXQDA program. Background: This study aims to determine the attitudes and disability awareness of university students who provide health services to persons with disabilities.

Methods: This study included 291 volunteer students studying at the Vocational School of Health Services, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU), and conducting clinical practice at KTU Farabi Hospital. A sociodemographic form was used to determine the individual characteristics of the students included in this study, and the Attitudes toward Disabled Persons Scale (ATDP) was applied to determine their attitudes toward persons with disabilities.

The primary objective of this article is to examine the common translation errors made by Iraqi university students. The study employs Pham Phu Quynh Na's (2005) error analysis taxonomy to categorize and identify errors occurring during the translation of passive sentences from Arabic into English. The findings indicate that linguistic errors are the most prevalent, constituting 61.52% in the first university and 42.84% in the second. Conversely, translation errors are the least frequent, accounting for 38.45% and 57% of the total error rate. Notably, comprehension errors comprise 27% of the errors observed. This paper examines how the establishment of the SULEDO community forest reserve caused land use conflicts between peasants and pastoralists in Kiteto District from 1990 to 2016. The peasants complained that the government had deliberately made it possible for pastoralists to get more benefits from the reserve since they were allowed to graze their livestock in the reserve, which took large parts of their former agricultural land. Conversely, the grabbing of land by peasants in the forest reserve caused complaints from the pastoralists who claimed that the peasants were grabbing their grazing land in the reserve. This study investigated the development of Tanga’s dairy innovation system and its role in promoting and maintaining relationships between farmers, the industry, and cooperative unions; employing a case study approach. The main objective was to assess the role of cooperatives in forging farmer-industry linkages and in improving dairy industry innovations. 100 dairy producers in Tanga participated in the survey that led to the paper. Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) is a controversial and uncommon syndrome. Three different diagnoses can be made based on the compressed structure: arterial TOS, venous TOS, and neurogenic TOS. Diagnosing TOS, especially neurogenic TOS, remains difficult since a single diagnostic tool does not exist. Although this resulted in a lot of confusion, standardization of care and outcome improved daily care practice measures in the last decade. Current treatment algorithms consist of both conservative and surgical treatment approaches, which should be chosen depending on the type of TOS and extend of the complaints. Scholars and practitioners have long theorized that by penalizing firms with unattractive governance features, the stock market incentivizes firms to adopt the optimal governance structure at their initial public offerings (IPOs). This theory, however, does not seem to match with practice. Not only do many IPO firms offer putatively suboptimal governance arrangements, such as staggered boards and dual-class structures, but these arrangements have been gaining popularity among IPO firms. In 2021, the Maryland Senate voted to override the governor’s veto to pass House Bill 732, marking the enactment of the first digital advertising tax in the United States. The tax imitated existing digital services taxes that have become popular internationally. Recognizing the need for a global solution, the OECD and the G20 formed the Inclusive Framework to ensure that countries receive their fair share of taxes without subjecting businesses to double taxation. Background: Histoid leprosy is a rare variant of lepromatous leprosy (LL), characterized by unique clinical, histopathological, and microbiological features. This type of leprosy is caused by multidrug therapy (MDT) drug resistance, train mutation of Mycobacterium leprae, or genetic factors.

Case Illustration: A 21-year-old Indonesian woman with a family history of histoid leprosy complained of multiple hypo-esthetic erythematous partly flat-topped papules around the lesion on the face and bilateral superior and inferior extremities for the last two years. Deliberative democracies are based on an ideal process of speech and dialogue that fosters an “uninhibited, robust, and wide-open” public discourse sphere. In cyberspace, social networks and search engine platforms largely operate with recommender systems that tailor content according to the users' interests and online behavior (“profiling”), thus segregating them from different points of view (“bubble effect”). This Article explores the public participation process conducted during the drafting of Afghanistan’s 2004 Constitution. It examines scores of questionnaires, public comments, written submissions and minutes of town hall meetings that the framers used to gather public opinion and input. The Article highlights that the makers of the 2004 Constitution of Afghanistan designed and implemented an extensive public participation process, but public opinion did not have a real impact on constitutional outcomes. In 2022, the United States Supreme Court decided Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which ended the federal abortion protection established under Roe v. Wade. The Court reasoned that abortion restriction is properly regulated by state governments, and thus a federal abortion law scheme is unconstitutional.
