Nonreligious Explanations Of Boko Haram’S Resilience In Nigeria, Jimmy Imo

Over the past decade, Boko Haram has become one of the world’s deadliest terror organizations. The purpose of this qualitative case study was to explore nonreligious explanations for the problem of resilience of Boko Haram in Nigeria. Rational choice theory provided the primary framework for the study. Data were collected through in-person and telephone interviews with 14 religious and government subject matter experts. Other sources of data included media publications, documents, audio-visual materials, and the internet. Data were inductively coded and subjected to thematic analysis. There is a problem in the United States national security enterprise related to the National Guard’s organizational responsibilities to state and federal governments, and it was unknown whether this hybrid structure caused capabilities to diverge between pre-9/11 and post-9/11 national security priorities. This quantitative study’s purpose was to investigate the use of Congressional funding to determine how and to what degree the National Guard’s capabilities diverged from the United States national security priorities from pre-9/11 to post-9/11 periods. The need is critical to equip police with cybercrime preparedness to combat and eradicate the problem. Cyber-attacks have negatively impacted the growing epidemic needing constructive solutions. The police personnel’s experiences provided essential cybercrime preparedness, acquired in diverse locations, and applied in the workplace with preventive cybercrime recommendations. This autoethnographic qualitative study details the researcher’s interest in the world of Islamic terrorism, which stemmed from the 2007 disappearance of a colleague in Iran, while on a rogue CIA mission. From the literature review, four basic themes emerged, which were applied to five case studies. One of the first scholarly articles encountered, speculated that the lack of empirical research and evidence in Islamic terrorism studies, may be caused by conceptual and methodological difficulties and pointed out that social phenomenon such as radicalization, rehabilitation and reintegration are hard to conceptualize and measure. Purpose: Gliomas are the most common primary brain tumor in adults in the US with an annual age-adjusted incidence rate of 4.67 to 5.73 per 100,000 persons. Exposure to ioniz-ing radiation is the only established risk factor for non-hereditary glioma risk. This thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the evolution of Alfred Adler’s concept of Gemeinschaftsgefühl (community feeling), a simple yet potent idea that started in a Viennese café and expanded far beyond it. Ideas have lives beyond that of their authors, and this thesis argues that Alfred Adler’s idea of Gemeinschaftsgefühl was pressed into the service of various social and political agendas. Adler was privately a socialist, but he never wished to see Gemeinschaftsgefühl become a tool for this or any other movement. Impacts of disasters on individuals are dependent on numerous factors: local to international political dynamics, socioeconomics, geography, educational background, and outside support among others. Currently, much of disaster research focuses on those of natural origin, acute and large-scale environmental events, emergency management, and the ability of individuals, communities, and societies to prepare for, and recover from, likely known disasters in their region. In the present report, submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution S-33/1, the international Commission of Human Rights Experts on Ethiopia presents its initial findings. The Commission concludes that there are reasonable grounds to believe that violations such as extrajudicial killings, rape, sexual violence and starvation of the civilian population as a method of warfare have been committed in Ethiopia since 3 November 2020. The Commission finds reasonable grounds to believe that, in several instances, these violations amounted to war crimes and crimes against humanity. The Commission provides an assessment of transitional justice developments and makes urgent recommendations.

For half a century, constitutional sex equality doctrine has been combating harmful sex stereotypes by invalidating laws that treat women as caregivers and men as breadwinners. Yet decades after the constitutional sex equality revolution unsexed parenting roles, one area of parenting has escaped this doctrine’s exacting gaze: breastfeeding. Beginning in the 1990s in the wake of public health efforts to promote breastfeeding, a raft of laws were enacted, from insurance coverage mandates under the Affordable Care Act to workplace accommodations under the Fair Labor Standards Act, that provide substantial breastfeeding protections and benefits, but only to women. investigating and prosecuting international humanitarian law (IHL) violations.

Worse still, no actual attempts have been made to include a disability perspective

into practical guidance and monitoring mechanisms. This article addresses that

void by laying out how existing yet unutilized IHL obligations can be leveraged to

repress and suppress disability-based IHL violations. In doing so, the article will

Through a textual analysis of the popular Thai film Tom Yum Goong (2005), this paper explores how the director, Prachya Pinkaew, expresses his own nationalistic and localistic argument by creating a myth of a hero that uses Muay Thai to defeat the villains in order to save his elephant, which symbolizes (as the allegory of) Thailand. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษากรอบแนวคิดความมั่นคง ยุทธศาสตร์ชาติด้านความมั่นคง และสมรรถนะนายทหารสัญญาบัตรกองทัพบกตามยุทธศาสตร์ชาติด้านความมั่นคง (2) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพแวดล้อมของการจัดการศึกษาก่อนประจำการเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะนายทหารสัญญาบัตรกองทัพบกตามยุทธศาสตร์ชาติด้านความมั่นคง และ (3) เพื่อนำเสนอกลยุทธ์การจัดการศึกษาก่อนประจำการเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะนายทหารสัญญาบัตรกองทัพบกตามยุทธศาสตร์ชาติด้านความมั่นคง โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ และเชิงคุณภาพ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารโรงเรียนนายร้อยพระจุลจอมเกล้า ครูอาจารย์ นักเรียนนายร้อย และผู้ใช้ผลผลิต เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบประเมินกรอบแนวคิด แบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง แบบสอบถาม และแบบประเมินร่างกลยุทธ์ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าดัชนี PNImodified และใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) สมรรถนะนายทหารสัญญาบัตรกองทัพบกประกอบด้วย 5 สมรรถนะ ได้แก่ ความเป็นผู้นำทางทหาร ความรู้ความสามารถในการปฏิบัติภารกิจ ความรู้ความสามารถทั่วไป การพร้อมรับการเปลี่ยนแปลง และการใช้ภาษา 2) สภาพแวดล้อมของการจัดการศึกษาก่อนประจำการเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะนายทหารสัญญาบัตรกองทัพบกตามยุทธศาสตร์ชาติด้านความมั่นคง (1) สภาพปัจจุบันและสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของคุณภาพกำลังพลในภาพรวม ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด คือ สมรรถนะความเป็นผู้นำทาง (2) สภาพปัจจุบันของการจัดการศึกษาภาพรวม ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุด คือ ด้านครูอาจารย์ สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ ฯ ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุด คือ ด้านครูอาจารย์ และด้านเป้าหมายของการจัดการศึกษา (3) จุดแข็ง คือ ครูอาจารย์ หลักสูตร เป้าหมายของการจัดการศึกษา การวัดและประเมินผล การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ และผู้เรียน จุดอ่อน คือ งบประมาณ และสื่ออุปกรณ์การศึกษา (4) โอกาส คือ เศรษฐกิจ และด้านสังคม ภาวะคุกคาม คือ การเมืองและนโยบายรัฐ และ เทคโนโลยี และ 3) กลยุทธ์การจัดการศึกษาก่อนประจำการเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะนายทหารสัญญาบัตรกองทัพบกตามยุทธศาสตร์ชาติด้านความมั่นคง ประกอบด้วย 8 กลยุทธ์หลัก ได้แก่ (1) ยกระดับการจัดสรรงบประมาณให้สอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาสมรรถนะนายทหารสัญญาบัตรกองทัพบก (2) ปฏิรูปสื่ออุปกรณ์ทางการศึกษาเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะนายทหารสัญญาบัตรกองทัพบก (3) พัฒนานักเรียนนายร้อยให้มีสมรรถนะนายทหารสัญญาบัตรกองทัพบก (4) …
