This paper addresses the large and growing pay gap between executives and employees in large corporations by considering the need for a private sector maximum wage law in the United States. The first section of the paper presents evidence that suggests the United States has a large pay gap compared to other countries and that the pay gap in the United Statesis growing over time. The Iraq War (2003–2011) constitutes by some estimates one of the deadliest and most destructive conflicts of the 21st century (Hagopian et al., 2013). In addition to the disputed figures of excess violent civilian casualties––generally ranging from 180,000 to 210,000 deaths––the war has created one of the major refugee crises of modern times, with 1 in 25 Iraqis estimated to have been displaced from their homes by the 2003 invasion (Costs of War, 2021). Recent advances in biometric technologies have caused a stir among the privacy community. Specifically, facial recognition technologies facilitated through data scraping practices have called into question the basic precepts we had around exercising biometric privacy. The article analyzes the development of Ukrainian Orthodoxy in the context of the revenge policy of Russia against Ukraine at the turn of the 21st century. The Reconstruction era in Florida is often misunderstood. Historians generally focus on the Civil War and the post-Reconstruction era to emphasize how the South has changed, but the Reconstruction era remains in shadow. To rectify this gap, this research provides more information about the Reconstruction era in Florida, specifically the impact of violence. To achieve this, I primarily used the testimonies gathered from the Joint Select Committee's investigation of violence during the Reconstruction era and the testimonies given to the Federal Government after the 1876 Presidential Election. Sulfur Mustard (SM) is a chemical warfare agent first utilized on the battlefield more than 100 years ago. To the present time, no antidote to combat the dermatotoxicity of SM exists. Mechlorethamine (HN2) is a derivative of SM which is used in anticancer therapy. Dermal exposure of HN2 is associated with dermal-epidermal junction (DEJ) disruption (vesication) which limits its clinical usefulness. The Seaglider, a buoyancy driven Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) equipped with oceanographic sensors that glides through the water in a sawtooth pattern, shows promise as a quieter alternative to propelled AUVs for deployable autonomous acoustic sensing. However, Seaglider functions such as pitch, roll, buoyancy adjustments and oceanographic sensing still produce sounds which impact acoustic recordings. The goal of this research is to identify and acoustically characterize sounds produced by the Seaglider by description of signal temporal and spectral characteristics with absolute sound pressure levels using spectrograms, power spectral density, and 1/3 octave analysis.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park (TRNP) is home to a herd of feral horses (Equus caballus) which were present on the landscape prior to the establishment of the park and are now maintained as a living history demonstration herd. I used genomic analyses to investigate the TRNP horses’ relatedness to other breeds and the genetic basis for variation in response to a contraceptive vaccine. DNA from 118 horses was genotyped for 70k SNPs spread evenly across the genome. งานวิจัยนี้นำเสนอนโยบายการบริหารเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการเตรียมอะไหล่คงคลังกรณีศึกษาโรงงานผลิตกรดอะมิโน ซึ่งมูลค่าอะไหล่คงคลังเฉลี่ยต่อปี มีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นจาก 8.3 ล้านบาท ปี พ.ศ. 2559 จนถึง 10.5 ล้านบาท ปี พ.ศ. 2564 ซึ่งสวนทางกับมูลค่าการเบิกใช้อะไหล่ที่มีมูลค่าน้อยลง จึงส่งผลให้อัตราหมุนเวียนอะไหล่มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่อปีอยู่ที่ 0.034 และ 0.102 ในปี พ.ศ. 2559 และปี พ.ศ. 2564 ตามลำดับ ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่าอะไหล่ที่ถูกเก็บในคลังมากกว่าความต้องการ ส่งผลให้สูญเสียค่าใช้จ่ายในการเก็บสูง ดังนั้นการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการเตรียมอะไหล่จะถูกพิจารณาการดำเนินงานผ่านนโยบายการตัดสินใจการเก็บอะไหล่ และปริมาณการเก็บคงคลัง โดยเริ่มต้นจากการนำเสนอเมทริกซ์การตัดสินใจการเก็บอะไหล่ ที่ต้องมีการประเมินความวิกฤติอะไหล่ผ่านเมทริกซ์ 1. Article 57(2) of the First Additional Protocol to the Geneva Conventions requires parties to an armed conflict to “do everything feasible to verify” their objects of attack and take “all precautions” to minimize civilian casualties and unintentional damage to civilian property. This obligation has been interpreted in international law to require state parties to set up an “effective intelligence gathering system” that would properly identify targets using all technical means at the disposal of the combating forces.
