This article analyzes the drying process of hawthorn fruit found in mountainous regions of our country. Since red hawthorn fruit is considered one of the main medicinal products, it is important to dry it while preserving its antioxidant properties. Blanching technology was used in a convective drying device for drying while maintaining the antioxidant properties of the object. In the process of blanching, a solution of ordinary water and citric acid was used. 1 and 1.5% solution of citric acid solution was selected. Background: Dandruff is an understated hair and scalp problem that causes striking social and concentration issues among medical students. Haircare practice among them may or may not be related to the dandruff incident.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 74 pre-clinical medical students at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. Trained health staff assessed dandruff prevalence by physical examination, and the haircare practice was measured using a questionnaire. Bivariate analysis was utilized to assess the association between haircare practice and dandruff prevalence’s.

Background: Cutaneous tuberculosis (TB) is a chronic infectious disease affecting the skin caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis). It constitutes 1–1.5% of extrapulmonary TB, with Indonesia being the third-highest TB burden country worldwide. Cutaneous TB is difficult to diagnose due to its varied presentations. Background: Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL) is the amount of water released from the human body into the atmosphere through a diffusion process per unit of time. Changes in TEWL indicate impaired skin barrier function. Exposure to ultraviolet light for an extended period can cause photoaging, characterized by rough and dry skin (xerosis cutis). TEWL will increase significantly in the skin exposed to ultraviolet radiation. Background: Longitudinal melanonychia (LM) describes a longitudinal brown-to-black band of discoloration affecting a finger, thumb, or toenail. Discoloration of the nails can be a sign of benign or malignant nail disorders. Although nail melanoma rarely occurs in children, health practitioners should be aware of melanonychia. Background: Non-pustular annular psoriasis is a rare condition in which a type of plaque psoriasis appears with ring-like lesions and a clearer central appearance. The disease activities in psoriasis may be evaluated clinically. It is essential to provide a more meaningful approach to treatment management.
Case illustration: A 33-year-old woman complained of a one-year history of multiple erythematous, scaly, and annular plaques with central clearing. Since the era of tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy, there has been an increase in the median survival of chronic myeloid leukemia. Nevertheless, nowadays there were several cases of chronic myeloid leukemia that are resistant to the first-line TKIs, so that several second-line TKIs were introduced. Assessment of the therapeutic response was performed using a complete peripheral blood examination, bone marrow aspiration cytogenetic examination, and quantitative BCR-ABL examination. Entrepreneurial marketing education is considered an essential platform to stimulate successful entrepreneurs, especially for vocational high school (SMK) graduates in Indonesia, which has the highest open unemployment rate and mostly comes from low-income backgrounds. Hence, the researchers investigated why most SMK graduates, supposedly skilful, do not opt for entrepreneurship. This is an under-researched study that could carry enormous implications. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of antiulcer oral mucosal protectant-RADoralex® in the prevention and treatment of radiation-induced oral mucosal reactions elicited during intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). for locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Timely information during water related disasters is of utmost importance for flood preparedness and risk reduction. However, the conventional ground-based photographic monitoring of flooded areas is an expensive and time-consuming exercise. Satellite remote sensing is a quick and affordable approach that can be used for concurrent floods detection at different scales. This is important as it facilitates timely information for emergency response to disaster management departments, even in scarcely instrumented catchments. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving procedure that can multiply a person's chances of survival after a cardiac arrest. The effectiveness of CPR procedures is heavily influenced by the individual skills of the rescuer providing assistance. Chest compressions delivered at an appropriate depth and rate, allowing full chest recoil and with minimal interruptions, are critical for improving cardiac arrest survival. The lack of quality CPR training models in developing countries has a significant impact on the quality of CPR training and skills acquired. Indoor positioning systems are used to locate and track objects in an indoor environment. Distance estimation is done using received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of radio frequency signals. However, RSSI is prone to noise and interference which can greatly affect the accuracy performance of the system. In this paper Internet of Things (IoT) technologies like low energy Bluetooth (BLE), WiFi, LoRaWAN and ZigBee are used to obtain indoor positioning. A quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group pre-test and post-test design was applied. Ischemic tissue disease is caused by a lack of circulation / blood supply to tissue. This can be treated by introducing a number of angiogenic (pro-blood vessel forming) factors into the tissue. This work presents strategies for ischemic tissue treatment utilizing a novel proangiogenic self-assembling peptide hydrogel platform. To demonstrate the utility of this platform, its use alone as an angiogenic therapeutic (both alone as a self-assembling hydrogel and with two-component systems), and its ability to vascularize implants is explored. This study aimed to investigate the correlation of scientific reasoning and argumentation into prospective biology teachers in plant physiology discourse. This study was conducted at September-December 2021 through blended learning. Thirty prospective biology teachers get involved as participant in this research. Scientific reasoning and argumentation intervention trough PBL and measure by essay tests. Scientific reasoning indicator follows AACU. While scientific argumentation follow TAP. This research found there is correlation between scientific reasoning and argumentation, with R value of 0.556 which means that scientific reasoning skills and scientific argumentation are moderately correlated.
