Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Penang Island hoteliers cannot perform their job to meet the customers’ expectations due to their high job demands. Hence, this paper intends to examine the predictors of job performance among Penang Island hoteliers. Furthermore, the paper intends to investigate the potential role of challenge demands and hindrance demands as mediating variables. A total of 107 hoteliers from Penang Island hotels participated in the study. The study results showed that psychosocial safety climate and challenge demands possess a significant positive relationship with job performance, whereas psychosocial safety climate has a significant negative relationship with hindrance demands. …

Nowadays, the COVID-19 pandemic has led Malaysian educators to experience more significant burnout due to job demands. This paper is an effort to examine the reasons that caused burnout among Malaysian educators. A total of 413 Malaysian educators participated in the study. This study’s findings revealed that PSC has a significant negative relationship with hindrance demands and burnout, whereas both challenge and hindrance demands have insignificant positive relationships with burnout. Furthermore, the study showed that two variables—challenge demands and hindrance demands—played significant mediators in the relationship between PSC and burnout. This study was conducted to investigate the molecular behavior as well as structural evolution of BCO-surfactant systems during self-assembly micellization using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. Alaska’s Unfair and Deceptive Acts and Practices (UDAP) statute was designed to provide broad, robust protections for everyday Alaskan consumers. Astonishingly, Alaska is one of only three states that does not protect Alaskans under its UDAP statute when they fall victim to fraudulent schemes involving real property. The Alaska Supreme Court has consistently upheld this interpretation of the UDAP statute by relying on precedent from over thirty years ago. Restrictive ballot access laws are the most burdensome requirement for third-party candidates. Such laws implicate First Amendment freedoms to associate both publicly and privately with like-minded individuals in order to advance political causes. Alaskan courts review state ballot access laws under the demanding standard of strict scrutiny. This standard was adopted through the efforts of Joe Vogler and his Alaskan Independence Party. The authors contend that such a standard has fostered Alaska’s unique openness toward third-party candidacies. Taenia hydatigena is one of the most prevalent taeniid species of livestock and dogs. A total of 52 fecal samples were collected from September 2019 to May 2020. The highest prevalence rate was observed in Rural area (21.15%, 11/52), as compared to Urban area (15.38%, 8/52). Nineteen (9 males and 10 females) out of 52 dogs were infected with T. hydatigena; there were no significant differences in prevalence based on molecular technique was observed between females (19.23%) and males (17.31%). Specimens were of urine, wounds swabs, burn swabs, vaginal swabs, ear swabs, eye swabs, and sputum. Fifty-one Proteus isolates, (47) Proteus mirabilis, and (4) Proteus vulgaris, were undergone PCR assay using specific primers, targeting the genes ureR and Urease C (ureC), that encode for urease enzyme as a virulence factor of Proteus species.
