The present paper examined user opinion and satisfaction about library information resources in engineering college libraries. The tool employed for collecting data is a questionnaire. The questionnaire is designed in such a way to collect the data from faculty members of engineering college libraries. Objectives: To know the perceptions of LIS professionals and students regarding change of nomenclature of LIS discipline and the location of LIS schools (departments) under the appropriate faculty in the universities.

Methodology: Data for this descriptive study were collected from the university websites and through discussion with the chairpersons of LIS departments in Pakistan. Three Hundred and Fifty Three Senior High School (SHS) students were selected using proportionate stratified sampling technique for the study. The purpose of this study is to assess the information needs and information-seeking behaviour among library users in the CHS Library, the University of Ghana amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The study adopted the survey design to select 128 respondents using the convenience sampling technique with a response rate of 68.75 per cent. The study found that most respondents were competent health information literates. Moreover, most users look for health information to gain a better understanding of the causes, severity, and prognosis of a disease.
