This paper proposes GL-moments’ method as a generalization to the TL-moments and the L-moments methods. Population GL-moments in terms of the quantile function and shifted Jacobi polynomials were defined. Some relations between GL-moments depending on Jacobi Polynomials were also derived. Furthermore, interpretation of the first two population GL-moments by U-statistics was introduced. Also, we obtained two expressions to estimate the population GL-moments: the first expression, which depends on Downton’s estimator, is a nearly unbiased estimator. Finally, to avoid an upper control limit exceeding one in p-chart, we propose a control chart based on generalized linear moments for monitoring fractional, rates …

Introduction. Pragma-linguistics is a branch of linguistics that examines the interrelationships between speech functions and speech forms. The speech situation is a situation that causes speech. It consists of several components. They are speaker and interlocutors, speech context, speech objectives, speech act as a form of action or activity, and utterance as a product of verbal action. The last studies show that there are some issues in pragma-linguistics related to speech situation and interactions between speech participants. These problems occur as a result of not being able to manage the speech situation properly or not knowing the usage of speech …

You Are The Father! An Argument For Court-Ordered Prenatal Paternity Testing And Child Support In Tennessee, Michael Stooksbury
Lincoln Memorial University Law Review Archive
As long as the concept of monogamy has existed, humans have looked for ways to escape it. Children, a natural consequence of sexual activity, are often negatively affected by the lack of a supportive family structure in single-family households. To correct this, courts often order child support to be paid from one parent to another, usually through the State. This is why paternity determinations are an important court function. One aspect courts have neglected, however, is child support for expecting mothers during pregnancy. Prenatal child support for expecting mothers would help alleviate some of the prenatal costs and make the …
