This study evaluates the Non-Communicable Disease Posbindu services in the Jagasatru Public Health Center in Cirebon City during the Covid-19 pandemic era seen from the aspects of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The method used is a qualitative analysis method, with a case study design. The research subjects were eight cadres of Posbindu Non-Communicable Diseases using random sampling technique; data collection was done by in-depth interview technique. This study's results indicate that the evaluation of services from the aspect of communication to the target of the analysis is correct, but has not yet reached the mark of productive age. …

As one of the leading industries in the Indonesian economy and having differenct characteristics from other industries, palm oil industry is interesting to study, especially in terms of working capital management. This study aims to analyze working capital performance of PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk. (PT SMART Tbk.) which has the highest revenue among other palm oil companies. This analysis is then related to the profitability level obtained. The main problem that is still faced with maternal health in Indonesia is
the high Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). It is estimated that 60% of
maternal deaths in Indonesia occur after postpartum, and nearly 50% of
deaths during childbirth occur within the first 24 hours after delivery.
Some causes of maternal death, such as postpartum complications and
postpartum bleeding, can be prevented through the puerperal care

Biomphalaria snails serve as vectors for Schistosoma mansoni, a trematode causing human schistosomiasis. Control of Schistosoma mansoni involves chemotherapy of affected people, but new control methods built on improved understanding of schistosome-snail interactions are needed. My dissertation applies molecular and bioinformatics approaches to understand such interactions. Chapter 1 shows that significant differences exist among Biomphalaria species in Africa with respect to their ability to support schistosome development. Chapters 2 and 3 reveal the transcriptional responses of Biomphalaria glabrata susceptible (SUS) or resistant (RES) to Schistosoma mansoni. The federal government of Malaysia recently implemented a nationwide Movement Control Order (MCO) to control the COVID-19 outbreak. However, the MCO has had a negative impact on people’s mental well-being. Interventions that can improve people’s mental health when their movement is restricted are therefore urgently needed. The present study investigated the impact of an ultra-brief online mindfulness-based intervention on mental health using a two-arm randomized controlled trial design. Frequent use of Facebook and partisan bias for presidential candidates were predicted to influence belief in misinformation about illegal migrant workers from China in Indonesia. Internet addiction (IA) is the disruption of a person's life because of the excessive use of the Internet. Severe IA can contribute to relationship conflicts, poor well-being, and low productivity. Research has found that IA can be attributed to maladaptive thinking and specific personality traits and with the Big Five in particular. However, the results of previous studies have been somewhat inconsistent, with previous meta-analytical research showing insignificant correlations. There is a visible upward trend in the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages across the world, and Indonesia is no exception. This study examined the effectiveness of school-based programs to increase the knowledge of junior high school students with regard to sugar-sweetened beverages in an attempt to decrease their consumption. A one week intervention using a quasi-experimental design was conducted through the adoption of the Kids SIPsmartER (Lane, et al., 2017) program. The students who received the intervention showed significantly higher nutritional knowledge of drinks with high sugar content upon completion of the program. Farmers’ adoption of multiple climate-smart agricultural practices may guarantee food security and economic and social efficiency considering the adverse effects of climate change. This study investigates the adoption of climate-smart agricultural technologies among farmers in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. The analysis used a primary data sample of 350 rice farmers and a multinomial logit model. The findings indicate that the most critical determinants of climate-smart agricultural technology adoption among farmers include perceived impact of climate change, farmer’s education level, farm size, access to credit, social capital, access to extension, secured farmland tenure, and constraint to market. The Indonesian government imposed a large-scale social restriction policy to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This policy affected the community, including mothers, and may have caused psychological strain on them. This study aimed to (i) establish a dataset on the psychological distress reported by mothers in Indonesia and (ii) identify demographic factors and pandemic-related characteristics that determine psychological distress. An online survey was administered from April 20 to April 25, 2020, and 1534 surveys were submitted. This paper examines the racial wedge driven by Whites between Blacks and Asian Americans during the Cold War on to the present. Model minorities is a term coined by whites in the 1960s to suppress Civil Rights protests and Black demands. By elevating a minority group through success stories, whites constructed a means to suppress Black people’s organizing for change against systemic racism and oppression.

Although existing suicide literature proposes that simply being African American protects against suicide (Nguyen et al., 2017; Street et al., 2012), few studies offer practical insights at mitigating suicidal ideations among African American children and adolescents let alone through a social work perspective (Reed, 2019). The purpose of this paper is to put forth a model to support the psychological safety of undergraduate students as they engage in a form of experiential learning called self-experiences. Self-experiences pair active engagement in learning episodes with learner self-inquiry. The need to safeguard curricular self-experiences is grounded in the American Music Therapy Association’s Professional Competencies and Code of Ethics and the Certification Board for Music Therapists’ Board Certification Domains.
