This qualitative study was designed to record the history of a significant event in agricultural education in Georgia, the 2020 Vision for Agricultural Education in Georgia, which was in response to the Reinventing Agricultural Education for the Year 2020 initiative from the National Council for Agricultural Education in 1996. A steering committee was made up of agricultural educators and industry partners. Eleven themes were identified by the steering committee. The steering committee took the eleven themes and created goals and strategies for the 2020 Vision for Agricultural Education in Georgia. However, not all clinical learning environments foster positive learning. Why does a revolutionary theatre method developed in the 1960s and 1970s by Brazilian intellectual and activist Augusto Boal belong in clinical legal education? Use of the transformative Forum Theatre method can greatly enhance legal education. Boal, a colleague and disciple of Paulo Freire (Pedagogy of the Oppressed), developed Forum Theatre as a democratic, participatory, and collaborative production between the actors and the audience, to revolutionize traditional sit-and-watch theatre. Participation in a learning community has been widely recognized as a high impact educational practice. Here, we focus on a highly successful partnership between a psychology professor (JGF) and an English professor (KAH), who codesigned and cotaught a first-year cocurricular (Psychology/English Composition) learning community (LC) course for multiple semesters at a large public Minority/Hispanic Serving Institution in the Northeast. The Association for Communication Administration (ACA), founded in Chicago in 1972, claimed a membership of one hundred and two departments. It was an independent organization but shared resources with what is now the National Communication Association. Initial membership included theatre and broadcast programs under the umbrella of communication. These programs would create their own independent associations. ACA’s mission was to promote the role of communication administrators, chairpersons to university presidents, in academia. In 1903 at Iowa State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts, a Public Speaking department emerged. This transition occurred over a decade prior to public speaking teachers seceding from English. Members of the department played foundational roles in establishing the national association and moving the discipline toward research-driven initiatives in order to secure legitimacy across academic landscapes. Surviving two World Wars, the Great Depression and title merger with English, the department again emerged as an independent academic unit prior to the 1970s. This article advocates adding object-based learning, utilizing rare legal books and manuscripts, to the legal education toolbox. Object-based learning is an educational methodology that explains the many learning benefits resulting from student engagement with tangible objects of material culture. Studies into the use of this methodology with undergraduate and graduate students are rather new, but research indicates that object-based learning produces measurable positive results across the curriculum.

When someone is liable for defamation, a court will
almost always levy monetary penalties against the
defamer. A rarely used penalty for defamation is the
imposition of a permanent injunction on the defaming
party that would prevent them from repeating their
defamatory content. Many courts see permanent
injunctions as an unconstitutional prior restraint on a
person’s right to speak, refusing to allow the
condemnation of a person’s speech before they have

The purpose of the study was to explore what types of digital content cultural institutions implemented during COVID-19 temporary closures and their effects on social media engagement. Existing research identified the role of digital content and social media in cultural institutions, but only in times of normal operations. The study adds to the existing literature by exploring types of digital content implemented, impacts on social media engagement, measures of social media engagement, and future implications in regard to COVID-19 temporary closures.

This dissertation explores how representations of violence do dramaturgical work in theatrical production. Playwrights write scenes of violence, and directors and designers stage them, with specific dramaturgical goals in mind. The project of this work is to develop a theoretical framework for understanding how productions use representations of violence. Ideally, that framework will be of use both to critics seeking to analyze productions with violence and to practitioners who want to more consciously shape their own use of violence.

This paper explores the affect of digital media in live performance. The research is generated from work with integrated digital media in Carol Ann Duffy's 2015 adaptation of Everyman as well as Samuel Beckett's radio play Cascando. Through experimentation and implementation of motion tracking digital elements and actor-manipulated sonic and visual digital media achieved with MIDI and OSC mapping, I explore the embodiment of performances by actors when their various characters are represented on the physical as well as the digital stage simultaneously.

This thesis seeks to understand the human response to extreme environmental, social, and political change during the Terminal Classic (750-1050 CE) at Cahal Pech. Across the Maya lowlands, this period is distinguished by the end of divine kingships, the cessation of new monumental architecture, rapid changes in prestige goods and trade networks, and population decline at many major centers. Cahal Pech, a medium-sized ceremonial center, experienced great shifts in political power and access to resources during the Terminal Classic. This thesis examines recent successful efforts by the Wiyot Tribe in Humboldt County, California to resist and reverse forms of settler-colonial oppression with tangible and unprecedented results. The original inhabitants of Humboldt Bay: the Wiyot, and their allies in the local community, have overcome settler socio-political resistance in three contentious, public disputes to preserve and restore tribal sovereignty over ancestral land and culture. In 1993, the Delaware Supreme Court urged stockholders to use the "tools at hand" to flesh out complaints in derivative lawsuits. The plaintiffs' bar got the message. In the years since that proclamation, the Delaware Court of Chancery has seen dramatic increases in so-called Section 220 litigation-stockholders exercising their statutory right to inspect a company 's books and records. As Delaware courts have made it harder for stockholders to challenge merger transactions, this trend has only intensified. ธุรกิจโรงแรมมีความสำคัญอย่างมากต่ออุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โรงแรมในอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ ที่นำแนวคิดท้องถิ่นนิยมมาใช้ ไม่เพียงแต่สร้างรายได้ให้กับการท่องเที่ยวแต่ยังเป็นการพัฒนาชุมชนไปด้วย ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่มีโรงแรมอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ขนาดใหญ่ที่นำแนวคิดท้องถิ่นนิยมมาใช้มี 4 แห่ง โดยโรงแรม ฮอริซัน วิลเลจ ได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานสถานที่จัดงานในประเทศไทย (TMVS) จึงเป็นกรณีศึกษาด้านการพัฒนาอสังหาริมทรัพย์ที่น่าสนใจมาก โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษา แนวคิด กระบวนการการพัฒนา และผลที่ได้รับ เพื่อวิเคราะห์ข้อดีและข้อจำกัดในการพัฒนาโรงแรมในอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ ที่นำแนวคิดท้องถิ่นนิยมมาใช้ เพื่อนำไปสู่ข้อเสนอแนะ โดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาจากเอกสาร การสำรวจ สังเกต และการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ประกอบการ และผู้ชำนาญการ ผลจากการศึกษาพบว่า การนำแนวคิดท้องถิ่นนิยมมาใช้กับอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ของโรงแรม ฮอริซัน วิลเลจ รีสอร์ต ที่มีการดำเนินงานตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ.2549-2562 รวมทั้งหมด 13 ปี การพัฒนาตามกระบวนการพัฒนาอสังหาริมทรัพย์ มีการพัฒนาทั้งหมด 6 ครั้ง และมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งสำคัญทั้งหมด 4 ช่วง คือ 1) ก่อนการพัฒนาโครงการ (พ.ศ.2522-2549) ผู้ประกอบการใช้เวลาสะสมที่ดินตลอดเวลา 15 ปี เพื่อพัฒนาการเกษตร จนในปีพ.ศ.2546 ผู้ประกอบการได้กราบบังคมทูลเชิญเสด็จ สมเด็จพระเทพฯ พระองค์ทรงมีรับสั่งแนะนำแนวทางที่มีประโยชน์ในการพัฒนาหลายประการ ประกอบกับผู้ประกอบการมีความประสงค์ที่จะตอบแทนคุณแผ่นดิน จึงเป็นที่มาและแรงบันดาลใจสำคัญที่เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการพัฒนาโครงการ 2) ช่วงก่อตั้งโครงการ (พ.ศ. 2549-2552) เป็นช่วงที่วางรากฐานแนวความคิดและกำหนดทิศทางในการพัฒนาโรงแรมในอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์โดยเริ่มนำแนวคิดท้องถิ่นนิยมมาใช้ 3) ช่วงการเติบโตของการท่องเที่ยว (พ.ศ. 2556-2557) นักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติ โดยเฉพาะชาวจีนเข้ามาจำนวนมาก ผู้ประกอบการตัดสินใจลงทุนพัฒนาโรงแรมเป็นโรงแรมขนาดใหญ่ มีห้องประชุมรองรับได้ตั้งแต่ 20-800 คน ส่งผลให้โรงแรมได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานการจัดงานระดับสากล (TMVS) และต่อยอดการพัฒนาบุคลากรท้องถิ่น 4) ช่วงพัฒนาการบริหารภายในองค์กร (พ.ศ. 2560-2562) ทายาทของผู้ประกอบการ จบการศึกษาด้านการโรงแรม และกลับมาบริงานอย่างเต็มตัว และพัฒนาต่อยอดแนวความคิดท้องถิ่นนิยมด้วยการตลาดสมัยใหม่ แนวคิด และ เทคโนโลยี โดยนำเสนอความเป็นท้องถิ่นสู่ไมซ์ในระดับสากล ด้วยการร่วมมือกับภาครัฐฯ และเอกชน รวมถึงชุมชนโดยรอบ ผลจากการดำเนินงาน ฮอริซัน วิลเลจ พัฒนาโดยการปลูกฝัง และบ่มเพาะแนวความคิด ควบคู่ไปกับการดำเนินงานโดยอาศัยความรู้ ประสบการณ์ และปัจจัยส่งเสริมในการตัดสินใจลงทุนที่เหมาะสม นำไปสู่การค้นหาตัวตนเพื่อสร้างจุดขายในความเป็นท้องถิ่น และนำเสนอสู่ความเป็นสากล โดยเป็นการลดต้นทุนและเพิ่มคุณค่าให้กับโรงแรม …

วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง การแสดงในงานเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราช มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบการแสดงการวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบการแสดงในงานเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราช โดยศึกษาข้อมูลด้านการแสดงในงานเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราช ณ วงเวียนใหญ่ ฝั่งธนบุรี วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ใช้เครื่องมือในการศึกษาวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) สำรวจข้อมูลเชิงเอกสาร 2) สัมภาษณ์ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิและบุคคลอื่น ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง 3) อุปกรณ์เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศต่าง ๆ 4) เก็บข้อมูลภาคสนาม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การแสดงที่พบในงานเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราช บริเวณ วงเวียนใหญ่ มีรูปแบบที่หลากหลายและคัดเลือกแสดงที่มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อน้อมรำลึกถึงพระมหากรุณาธิคุณต่อสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราช การแสดงแต่ละชุดนั้นมีเรื่องราวสื่อถึงพระราชประวัติของพระองค์ผ่านการแสดง หรือมีเรื่องราวที่เกี่ยวข้องในสมัยธนบุรี โดยแบ่งรูปแบบการแสดงที่พบในงานเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชที่วงเวียนใหญ่ ปี พ.ศ. 2561 เป็น 2 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ 1) รูปแบบการแสดงละคร เป็นละครอิงประวัติศาสตร์ เกี่ยวกับพระราชประวัติ ตลอดจนจำลองสถานการณ์การกอบกู้อิสรภาพสมัยธนบุรี 2) รูปแบบเบ็ดเตล็ด แบ่งออกเป็น 3 แบบ คือ 2.1 การแสดงมหรสพจีน ได้แก่ การเชิดสิงโต – มังกรทอง และอุปรากรจีน 2.2 การแสดงมหรสพไทย ได้แก่ ระบำ รำ ฟ้อน ศิลปะการต่อสู้ไทย 2.3 การแสดงดนตรีขับร้องประกอบการแสดง โดยมีสำนักงานเขตคลองสานร่วมกับสำนักงานเขตธนบุรีเป็นประธานในการจัดงานในครั้งนี้ อีกทั้งในการจัดงานเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชยังถือเป็นการร่วมกันอนุรักษ์และสืบสานประเพณีอันดีงามของฝั่งธนบุรีให้คงอยู่ต่อไป

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) สำรวจปัญหาที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อคุณภาพชีวิตแรงงานในอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์ไทย และ 2) นำเสนอแนวทางพัฒนานโยบายเพื่อส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตของแรงงานในอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์ไทย งานวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ใช้การวิจัยเอกสาร ร่วมกับการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก กลุ่มผู้ผลักดันนโยบายและแรงงานในกองถ่ายทำภาพยนตร์ประเภททีมงานใต้เส้น เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล โดยผู้วิจัยได้ประยุกต์ใช้แนวคิดเรื่ององค์ประกอบคุณภาพชีวิต 4 ด้าน มาเป็นกรอบในการศึกษาปัญหา ได้แก่ ร่างกาย จิตใจ ความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แรงงานเผชิญกับปัญหาที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อคุณภาพชีวิตทั้ง 4 ด้าน โดยปัญหาที่มีความสำคัญที่สุดคือ ปัญหาสุขภาพและการพักผ่อน ปัญหาอุบัติเหตุในการทำงาน ปัญหาที่เกิดจากสภาวะทางจิตใจและอารมณ์ เป็นต้น โดยผู้วิจัยหยิบยกปัญหาที่มีความสำคัญเหล่านี้มานำเสนอเป็นแนวทางพัฒนานโยบายเพื่อส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตของแรงงานในอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์ไทย ในรูปแบบข้อเสนอแนะต่อ ยุทธศาสตร์การส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์และวีดิทัศน์ ประกอบไปด้วยแนวทาง ส่งเสริมมาตรฐานความปลอดภัย คุ้มครองชั่วโมงการทำงานที่เป็นธรรม ส่งเสริมการศึกษาด้านภาพยนตร์ให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานวิชาชีพ สนับสนุนการรวมกลุ่มของแรงงาน และ พัฒนาหน่วยงานด้านภาพยนตร์ที่มีบทบาทต่อการกำกับดูแลโดยตรง ซึ่งเป็นข้อมูลสนับสนุนให้การออกแบบแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาของภาครัฐมีเหตุผลประกอบการตัดสินใจ และมีหลักเกณฑ์การพิจารณาที่ครอบคลุมในหลากหลายมิติ

In films that feature disability, we see the recursive and discussion-limiting impulse to say “this representation is negative. Therefore, the representation should not be seen,” based on critical theories and methodologies outside the purview of film studies. In December 1977, the Liberal government of Pierre Elliot Trudeau authorized the Department of National Defence to begin the acquisition of new warships for the navy. The decision to acquire fully combat capable warships was a shocking decision which marked the conclusion of a remarkable turnaround in Canadian defence policy. The navy, which had grown into a substantial and capable force during the early Cold War in the 1950s, had been in a steady decline since the mid-1960s as a result of the shifts in defence policy, cuts in personnel, and still deeper cuts to the capital funding needed to …
