This research generally aimed to describe the characteristic of the ability of Pre-service and In-service TPE participants using the Item Response Theory, IRT. The research subject comprised 516 participants divided into 239 participants of the Pre-service TPE program and 277 participants of the In-service TPE program using the purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through the technique of observation and documentation. In estimating the item parameter and ability parameter, the IRT model polytomous was implemented, which was furthermore described. Empirical studies on death and SNS started since 2004 covering issues on grief, bereavement, mourning, relational continuity functions of SNS, and digital legacy. The study is aimed at further describing psychological factors inducing academic stresses of the students of the English Education Department, Yogyakarta State University (EED-YSU). The study is a continuation of a previous study that identifies sources of academic stress of students of EED-YSU. Data collection is conducted by an on-line survey technique. Confirmatory factor analysis is used for the data analyses. The results show six factors that become sources of students' academic stresses, namely academic demands, parent-child relationship, traumatic experiences during childhood, peer pressures, financial matters, and self-expectancy. Biomphalaria snails serve as vectors for Schistosoma mansoni, a trematode causing human schistosomiasis. Control of Schistosoma mansoni involves chemotherapy of affected people, but new control methods built on improved understanding of schistosome-snail interactions are needed. My dissertation applies molecular and bioinformatics approaches to understand such interactions. Chapter 1 shows that significant differences exist among Biomphalaria species in Africa with respect to their ability to support schistosome development. Chapters 2 and 3 reveal the transcriptional responses of Biomphalaria glabrata susceptible (SUS) or resistant (RES) to Schistosoma mansoni. Internet addiction (IA) is the disruption of a person's life because of the excessive use of the Internet. Severe IA can contribute to relationship conflicts, poor well-being, and low productivity. Research has found that IA can be attributed to maladaptive thinking and specific personality traits and with the Big Five in particular. Although existing suicide literature proposes that simply being African American protects against suicide (Nguyen et al., 2017; Street et al., 2012), few studies offer practical insights at mitigating suicidal ideations among African American children and adolescents let alone through a social work perspective (Reed, 2019). This work attempts to analyze the implementation of the GI law and regulations in the traditional handicraft industry in Indonesia. We particularly focus on the natural and human factors that are assessed when stakeholders apply for GI registration for their traditional handicraft products. This work also analyzes the books of requirements of five handicrafts with registered GIs in Indonesia.
