Variation In Physicochemical Properties And Microbial Diversity During The Progression Of Efflorescence On The Surface Of Douchi, Zhu Minfang, Zhang Lu, Ye Yunhua, Liao Hui
Food and Machinery
The changes in basic physicochemical properties and microbial diversity of Douchi before and after efflorescence of the surface were evaluated. The physicochemical properties were investigated via determining the content of moisture, ash, crude protein, crude fat, total sugar, reducing sugar, total acid, and amino nitrogen, along with the amino acid composition. The microbial diversity was measured by Illumina Miseq sequencing. The results showed that, with the progress of efflorescing, the ash and total sugar content of Douchi exhibited insignificant changes, and the crude fat, reducing sugar and total acid content showed a downward trend as a whole. The moisture content …

The Effect Of Irradiation On Preservation Of The Solenocera Melantho During Storage, Hao Yunbin, Shao Honghong, Xiang Xingwei, Zhou Yufang, Xia Wenshui
Food and Machinery
To investigate the sterilization and preservation by radiation on the shrimp Solenocera melantho, the total number of colonies, TVB-N, pH value, amino acids, heavy metal content were measured. The results showed that 1 kGy irradiation dose could kill most of the microorganisms. The higher the irradiation dose was, the stronger the bactericidal effect did. Although the irradiation did not affect the TVB-N in the Solenocera melantho, but the TVB-N decreased with the increase of irradiation dose. The pH value of the irradiated shrimp decreased first and then rose, and the rising speed was higher than the unirradiated sample. The rate …

Journal of Electrochemistry
In this work, hydrothermal reaction and high temperature were used to grow ZnCo2O4 active materials on Ni foam. The crystal stuctures and surface morphlogies of four samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The electrochemical performances were characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge/discharge (GCD) testing and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) on an electrochemical station. It can be seen that active materials tended to form denser stuctures with an increasing amount of NH4F in the solution system and four different morphologies of ZnCo2 …

Journal of Electrochemistry
The LaNiO3/TiO2 nanotube arrays were prepared by pulse electrodeposition combined with high temperature annealing. The LaNiO3 nanoparticles modified on the TiO2 nanotube arrays had small particle size (< 10 nm), uniform distribution and controllable loading. Some LaNiO3 nanoparticles were deposited inside the TiO2 nanotubes. The UV-visible absorption spectra displayed that the absorption band edge of LaNiO3/TiO2 nanotube arrays was obviously red-shifted as compared with that of TiO2 nanotube arrays, and the visible light absorption was enhanced significantly. The photocatalytic degradation results of rhodamine B (RhB) under visible light showed that the LaNiO3/TiO2 nanotube arrays prepared …

Pulmonary fibrosis is characterized by fibroblasts persisting in an activated form, producing excessive fibrous material that destroys alveolar structure. The second messenger molecule cyclic 3′,5′-adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) has antifibrotic properties, and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) can stimulate cAMP production through prostaglandin E (EP)2 and EP4 receptors. Although EP receptors are attractive therapeutic targets, the effects of long-term exposure to PGE2 have not been characterized. To determine the effects of long-term exposure of lung fibroblasts to PGE2, human fetal lung (HFL)-1 cells were treated for 24 h with 100 nM PGE2 or other …

Sustainable Algorithms For Generalized Estimation Of Dynamic Control Objects, Yulduz Muhtarhodjaeva Abdurakhmanova
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
The problems of separate and generalized assessment of the state and parameters of controlled objects under conditions of varying degrees of a priori uncertainty are considered. Stable algorithms for the generalized estimation of the state and parameters based on the quasilinearization method and the formal model of motion under conditions of statistical uncertainty, as well as the correction of the results of the generalized estimation, are presented. It is shown that the considered regularized generalized coordinate and parametric estimation algorithms make it possible to recover with sufficient accuracy the extended state vector of a dynamical system. The above algorithms make …

Electrochemical Behaviors Of Azopurine On Gold Electrodes, Ming-Xue Li, Hang Shi, Jia Liu, Meng Zhang, Jian-Zhang Zhou, De-Yin Wu, Zhong-Qun Tian
Journal of Electrochemistry
In this paper, we studied the electrochemical behaviors of azopurine on polished gold electrodes with cyclic voltammetry (CV). On the basis of analyzing scan rate and peak current, it was supposed that the redox process belonged to a reversible process controlled by adsorption in 0.2 mol·L-1 PBS (pH = 4.0 ~ 10.0) solutions. The potentials of redox peaks moved more negatively with increasing pH value. This proved that the H+ proton has participcted in the electrochemical reaction. The further data analysis and the calculation of surface adsorption excess demonstrated that the reaction was a two-proton and two-electron process. …

Early theoretical and empirical studies have recommended scholars to explore the factors affecting wisdom of counselors. To enact this void, the present study explores the factors affecting wisdom from the perspectives of Indonesian pre-service counselors (henceforth, participants). This study employed survey design to capture the participants’ perceptions. Participants involved in this study were 517 sixth semester pre-service counselors from eleven Guidance and Counseling Departments in Indonesia. Data were collected using questionnaire of Counselor Wisdom Antecedents Scale in the form of Likert five-level scale. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and exploratory factor analysis. The findings captured that there …

This study aimed to develop a counseling model to reduce students’ aggressive behavior, namely Peace Counseling Model (PCM). This counseling model uses the basic theory of peace education that is specifically implemented in counseling. This study adapted the research and development model formulated by Borg & Gall. The research used quantitative descriptive analysis. There was a strong agreement between experts and practitioners on the feasibility of the product being developed to be implemented by school counselor. The results of this study should be a reference to further research to test the effectiveness of PCM to reduce students’ aggressive behavior.
