A Comparison Of Emotion Regulation Strategies’ Effectiveness Under Cognitive Fatigue, Sirinapa Churassamee
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
This research compared the effectiveness of three emotion regulation strategies including reappraisal, distraction, and affect labeling under cognitive fatigue. In the 2 (fatigue vs. non-fatigue) × 3 (emotion regulation strategies) within-subject design, 46 participants were randomly assigned into conditions using an incomplete block design method. Self-report negative emotions and skin conductance responses to emotion-eliciting pictures were measured to compare the effectiveness of the strategies. Results showed that reappraisal was more effective in regulating negative emotions than distraction and affect labeling in both fatigue and non-fatigue conditions. While reappraisal was a robust method of regulating emotion, the other two less-demanding strategies …

Correlation Of Allergen Specific Immunoglobulin To House Dust Mites And Commensal Microbes In Atopic Dogs And Identification Of Major Allergen In Dermatophagoides Farinae, Nathrada Khantavee
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
To confirm a causative allergen in atopic dogs could test through intradermal skin testing (IDT) or allergen-specific IgE serology testing (ASIS). ASIS is more practical, convenient and safer. However, the results of ASIS could be affected by source and type of allergen. Crude allergen extracts were still used in commercial testing and protein antigens of skin microbes were not included in the panel of testing. In this study, our group developed serology test for confirming house dust mite allergy called Dermatophagoides farinae and D. pteronyssinus, and measuring specific immunoglobulin to skin microbes on dogs like Malssezia pachydermatis yeast and Staphylococcus …
