INTRODUCTION: The ‘stages of change’ model defines behavior change as a process with a series of stages. Alcohol use disorder which includes ‘harmful use’ and ‘alcohol dependence’ is a serious public health concern. With the ever increasing prevalence of ‘alcohol use disorder’ there is an increasing need to better understand the complexities of behavior change among this group. METHODS: A cross- sectional survey was conducted in 8 alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers (residential treatment centers) of Kathmandu, Nepal, in September 2018, involving 225 male patients. Chronic exposure to low dose of lead can affect to every systems and organs of the human body. Lead poisoning have been found among communication radio-repair workers because lead is routinely used for soldering. The longitudinal study design was used to investigate blood lead level (BLL) and hair lead level (HLL), to determine the association of BLL and HLL with signs and symptoms of lead poisoning among workers and to determine the health risk assessment of lead exposure among workers. In Thailand, this fact is confirmed by the hospital–based cancer registry annual report which ranked breast cancer as first of all female cancer patients. This study investigated the relationship between 3-PBA metabolites and GABA concentrations, and also determined the factors influencing pyrethroids metabolites among young children in urban areas. Rang-Jued or Thunbergia laurifolia Lindl. is a species in family Thunbergiaceae. In Thailand, leaf and stem of T. laurifolia are used to treat fever, inflammation, as well as antidotes. Perilla frutescens (L.) Britton or Nga-Kee-Mon belongs to Labiatae family. The leaf of P. frutescens is used to treat allergy, fever and inflammation. Rosmarinic acid is the active compound in both plants which was used as a standard marker in this study. Objectives: As public health insurance schemes in Thailand did not included prostate cancer screening in their benefits package, this study aimed to systematically gather the effectiveness and explore the cost effectiveness of difference prostate cancer screening programs for the Thai population and find the financial impact for adapting prostate cancer strategy. The objectives of this research were to study fans loyalty, fans’ perception on crisis management of Taylor Swift, and their uses of social media and to explore the relationship among these three variables. Single fixed-time AI is the breeding protocol inseminating the sows once with either fresh or frozen-thawed (FT) semen at fixed time after ovulation induction without estrus detection. To develop the success single fixed-time AI protocol in Thailand, factors affecting the efficacy of single fixed-time AI were evaluated. Additionally, we also evaluated the effect of using lecithin in cryopreservation extender on FT semen qualities in order to find the possibility to perform single fixed-time AI using sperm preserved in lecithin based extender. The objective of this study was to developed an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using boiled whole cell antigen for the detection of antibody against A. suis. The selected herd has clinical problems associated with A. suis infection. Over the past 40 years, heritage site management institutions have had to contend with expanding “boundaries of practice”: the evolution of heritage concepts and the emergence of global and transnational threats and broader sustainable development issues. Yet, many heritage site management institutions are still mired in conventional heritage mandates and approaches. This study looks at the ability of World Heritage site management institutions to adapt to this changing landscape. Bulk tank milk somatic cell count (BTM SCC) is worldwide acceptable as an indicator of subclinical mastitis and milk quality at the farm level. Several countries determine the BTM SCC level for quality control and milk pricing. In Thailand, BTM SCC standard is set at 500,000 cells/ml and premium milk quality is set at less than 100,000 cells/ml. Duck Tembusu virus (DTMUV), an emerging infectious disease in ducks, belongs to the Ntaya virus group of the Flavivirus genus in the Flaviviridae family. The emergence of DTMUV has been observed in layer and breeder duck farms in China since 2010 and in layer and broiler duck farms in Thailand since 2013. Infected ducks show neurologic signs, including an incapability to stand, ataxia, and paralysis. A significant drop in egg production is usually observed among layer ducks. The transmission of DTUMV involves mosquito vectors, however, the exact role of mosquitoes in the ecology of DTMUV in Thailand remains unclear. The …

Tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) is very important and high production of freshwater fish in Thailand. Columnaris disease has been now recognized as one of the most serious infectious diseases in farmed tilapia. The disease is caused by Flavobacterium columnare. Among the prevention and control strategies, vaccination is one of the most effective approach. According to the pathogenesis of this bacteria, the characteristic lesion is almost at mucosal area of skin and gill. Epidemiological Surveillance Of Feline Morbillivirus Infection In The Aspects Of Polymerase Chain Reaction, Indirect Elisa And Immunohistochemistry, Surangkanang Chaiyasak

Feline morbillivirus (FeMV), a relatively new virus, has been discovered in domestic cats and associated with kidney diseases since 2012 in Hong Kong. The FeMV study gained widely attentions in many countries whereas the pathogenesis remains elusive. These studies aimed to provide the FeMV knowledge in Thai domestic cat by performing the genetic-based, serological-based and pathological-based studies of FeMV-infected in Thai cats. Additionally, the indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and rabbit polyclonal antibody against FeMV matrix (FeMV-M) protein was produced for seroprevalence and viral localization by immunohistochemistry (IHC) techniques, respectively.
