Health Risk Assessment Of Inhalation And Dermal Exposure To Particle-Bound Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons Of E-Waste Dismantling Workers In Buriram Province, Thailand, Sarasanant Bungadaeng

This research mainly studied on the inhalation and dermal exposure concentrations of particle-bound polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) that e-waste burning workers probably received during their work and further estimated the health risk assessment in both route of exposure. According to the obtained results, the total concentrations of PAHs on PM₂.₅-₁₀ ranged from 0.0703 to 20.9800 μg/m³. For PM₂.₅, the total concentrations of PAHs varied from 0.2669 to 89.9645 μg/m³. In the dermal dust samples, the total concentrations of PAHs on the particles before burning work ranged from 8.1072 to 253.6118 mg/kg with the average concentration at 95.3894 mg/kg. For the …

This in vitro study aims to investigate whether or not using a resin modified glass ionomer as a base or intermediate layer would improve marginal integrity of a high C-factor class V resin composite restoration. This paper examines return predictability of three types of trading volumes include total volumes, buy volumes and sell volumes in Thailand's stock market between 2012 to 2018. To measure predictability ability, we sort securities into group base on the level of trading volumes and type of volumes. We test and confirm that buy volumes and sell volumes can predict return one day after the abnormal trading event. This paper provided evidences that costs management is affected by many factors and investors can use this knowledge to analyze the firm's cost management practices. Selling, General, and Administrative Costs (SG&A) appears to be sticky and showed that costs management is asymmetric. The cost stickiness occurs when the SG&A costs decrease by smaller percentage with revenue decrease compare to SG&A costs increase with revenue increase. This paper explored various factors that might have influence on the stickiness of SG&A costs using linear regression. Papaya fruit (Carica papaya L.) belonging to Caricaceae family is recognized as a good source of dietary fiber and antioxidants. The objective of this study was to develop the unripe papaya flour (UPF) from waste fruit product. The study was also investigated physicochemical, functional properties of UPF and its addition of pancake. First, the small pieces of unripe papaya were heated by hot air oven, then ground by using a high-speed universal grinder and sieved through a 100-mesh sieve. This study was conducted to investigate the antioxidant and antimutagenic activity of Zanthoxylum limonella seed extract and that of Z. limonella pericarp extract. The total phenolic contents and antioxidant activity assay including DPPH assay and FRAP assay were performed. The results showed that the antioxidant activity of pericarp extract was higher than that of the seed extract. The purposes of this study were to establish a database of the carbohydrate content of medications and investigate carbohydrate content of medications in epileptic children treated with ketogenic diet (KD) at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. One hundred sixty-nine KD order forms in 3 events (KD initiation, follow-up visit, and hospital re-admission) for epileptic children whose aged younger than 18 years old during 2009-2017 were selected. This study investigated the influence of different concentration of konjac glucomannan (KGM) (0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 % (w/v)) on the stability of curcumin emulsion in milk system containing 10%, 20%, and 30% (v/v) oil volume fraction. The data of creaming index, curcumin concentration, apparent viscosity, and color were obtained to investigate the stability of the system. Emulsions that reached the physical stability until 14 days of storage at 4ᵒC were subjected to further analysis including antioxidant, particle size, zeta potential, and bioaccessibility by the simulated gastrointestinal tract (GIT). The Cenozoic N-S trending Songkhla rift basin, located in the southwest Gulf of Thailand, was developed as a predominantly orthogonal extended half graben structure. The half graben is controlled by a boundary fault zone on the western side of the basin, which forms a series of N-S to NNE-SSW, east-dipping normal faults. The rift spans two phases of rifting; the Eocene-Oligocene and the Oligocene-Miocene phases, the late syn-rift to post-rift transition occurred from the late Early Miocene to Middle Miocene. The main clastic hydrocarbon reservoirs in the basin are located in the Early Miocene to Middle Miocene section. These reservoirs …

In this study, the characteristics of the aftershock in the mainland Southeast Asia (MSEA) were investigated using the several seismological techniques, i.e., i) the Gutenberg-Richter relationship (G-R relationship) ii) the modified Omori's law iii) the Bath's law and iv) the fractal dimension. After declustering, 1,697 clusters during 1985-2017, which represent the aftershocks occurring after mainshock were investigated in 13 seismic source zones recognized in the MSEA. According to the Bath's law, the maximum magnitude of the aftershock depends on the magnitude of the mainshock, with the difference value between 0.4-2.5. Multi-component Ion Exchange (MIE) was proved to be a major mechanism occurred during Low Salinity Waterflooding (LSWF). Reduction of both total salinity and concentration of divalent ions of injected water together with a presence of monovalent ion results in dissolution of divalent ions linking between rock surface and oil. As a consequence, oil is liberated from rock surface. This study aims to study effects of monovalent ions in MIE mechanism.
