In this paper, the authors describe a teacher preparation program in the area of moderate to severe disabilities with an emphasis in academic instruction. They present a rationale for their increased focus on academics, a description of the program’s design, and several challenges associated with its implementation. Further, they offer several considerations for iterative improvement of the program.

However, uploading plaintext does not seem like a good idea for users who wish to keep their data private. Current solutions to this problem in literature involves integrating Public Key Encryption and Public key encryption with keyword search techniques. The intent of this paper is to analyze the spatial complexities of various PKE-PEKS schemes at various levels of security and discuss potential avenues for improvement.

As a result of the 2015 Task Force on Unfunded Mandates and Government Consolidation, CGS assisted the Lieutenant Governor’s office in conducting a survey of best practices in shared services among Illinois local governments. Two surveys were conducted in 2016 and 2017, documenting examples of local collaboration and resource sharing underway in school districts, municipalities, townships, and special districts.

Journal of Rural Social Sciences

With declining survey response rates, the Drop-Off/Pick-Up (DOPU) survey method has been suggested as an alternative to mail, phone, or internet modes. We use a major household DOPU survey to explore the impacts of both implementation method and neighborhood context on survey response rates. The survey was carried out in 23 neighborhoods in northern Utah chosen to represent distinctive configurations of socioeconomic, demographic, land use, and built environments that comprise rural to urban residential communities in the region. Overall, the survey achieved a 63.2 percent response rate, but this varied from 33 to 79 percent across our study neighborhoods. Contact …

Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari pengembangan model pembelajaran PBL dalam Penerapan Kurikulum 2013. Tahapan penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan tahap pengembangan tes menurut Hambleton dan Jones (1993). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dan Problem Based Learning (PBL) ditinjau dari motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa, serta membandingkan keefektifan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan CTL dan PBL ditinjau dari motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu, yang menggunakan dua kelompok eksperimen. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan CTL dan PBL digunakan uji one sample t-test pada taraf signifikansi 5%.
