Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model assessment as learning (model-AaL) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK. Pengembangan model asesmen ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan Hopkin & Clark, yang terdiri atas dua tahap, yaitu: (1) tahap penelitian, dan (2) tahap pengembangan. Tahap penelitian meliputi: penelitian pendahuluan, studi hasil penelitian, analisis komponen model, penyusunan prototipe model. The change of the status of the National Exam (NE) from high-stakes testing to low-stakes testing inspired the researchers to explore its effects on the teaching and learning of English. This evaluation was a case study of the bridging language program offered at YSU to KNB students, it evaluated the generations 2012/2013. The focus of this evaluation was to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the bridging program. This was a summative evaluation used the CIPP method. It was a pragmatic parallel mix-method design research. The Impact Of Rurality, Community Attachment, And Community Involvement On Health Among Rural Texans, Jin Young Choi, E. Miranda Reiter, Gene L. Theodori

Journal of Rural Social Sciences

This study examines the differences in three health status indicators by rurality and the effects of community attachment and involvement on health among rural residents in Texas. We use the 2013 Texas Rural Survey (TRS) data, which include information on a representative sample of 757 rural Texas residents. The results show that the three health status indicators – self-rated general health, functional status of physical health, and functional status of mental health – are predicted by different factors. Overall, residents in small places often reported better health than those in medium-sized and large places. Community attachment and involvement were shown …

Pengaruh Metode Problem-Based Learning Dan Direct Teaching Terhadap Hasil Belajar Alat Ukur, Heru Raharjo, Soenarto Soenarto

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui: (1) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dan direct teaching, motivasi belajar tinggi dan rendah, kreativitas tinggi dan rendah; (2) pengaruh interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar dan kreativitas terhadap hasil belajar; (3) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dan direct teaching ditinjau dari motivasi belajar dan kreativitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Anava dan uji-t. Pengaruh Pengalaman Prakerin, Hasil Belajar Produktif Dan Dukungan Sosial Terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Siswa Smk, Isnania Lestari, Budi Tri Siswanto

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) 2 Ciamis, dan (2) hubungan dan pengaruh pengalaman prakerin, hasil belajar mata diklat produktif dan dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMKN 2 Ciamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto, dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa SMKN 2 Ciamis adalah sebesar 36,65% siswa memiliki tingkat kesiapan kerja pada kategori sangat tinggi, dan 63,35% siswa memiliki tingkat kesiapan kerja yang tinggi.
