Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model penilaian keterampilan intrapribadi dan antarpribadi dalam pendidikan karakter di SD yang valid, reliabel, dan cocok secara statistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model research and development dari Plomp dengan lima fase, yaitu: investigasi, desain, realisasi, tes, dan implementasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V SD di DI Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dokumentasi, wawancara, FGD, dan observasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap: (1) persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi mengajar guru, pola asuh orang tua, motivasi berprestasi siswa, kelengkapan sarana prasarana praktik, dan prestasi belajar teori kejuruan; (2) pengaruh keempat variabel bebas secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersamasama terhadap variabel terikat. Shale development, which uses the controversial energy extraction technique of hydraulic fracturing, is on the rise in America, with industries recently investigating the New Albany shale play in southern Illinois and western Kentucky. We ask: what do community leaders in this region think about shale development generally, and how do they come to their decisions? To answer these questions, we interviewed eighteen community leaders, twelve of whom were proponents of shale development. Introduction and objectives: The European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation II (euroSCORE II) is a validated model for predicting perioperative mortality after cardiac surgery. The role of cardio-respiratory fitness (CRF), expressed as peak metabolic equivalents (METs), as a predictor of long-term survival in patients who have previously undergone coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is well established. The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) is a federally funded program designed to increase fresh fruit and vegetable consumption among WIC participants. Research to date has examined the effectiveness of this program in reaching that goal. The current study measures the impact this program is having on some farmers that participate in the program. Farmers are an overlooked group that not only must agree to participate for programs like this to be successful but also are often living below the poverty line as are their customers. This study examines the differences in three health status indicators by rurality and the effects of community attachment and involvement on health among rural residents in Texas. We use the 2013 Texas Rural Survey (TRS) data, which include information on a representative sample of 757 rural Texas residents. The results show that the three health status indicators – self-rated general health, functional status of physical health, and functional status of mental health – are predicted by different factors. Overall, residents in small places often reported better health than those in medium-sized and large places. Community attachment and involvement were shown …

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) 2 Ciamis, dan (2) hubungan dan pengaruh pengalaman prakerin, hasil belajar mata diklat produktif dan dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMKN 2 Ciamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto, dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa SMKN 2 Ciamis adalah sebesar 36,65% siswa memiliki tingkat kesiapan kerja pada kategori sangat tinggi, dan 63,35% siswa memiliki tingkat kesiapan kerja yang tinggi. Penelitian AILIS dikembangkan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu: desain atau perencanaan, uji coba terbatas, dan uji coba diperluas. Tahap desain meliputi: kegiatan prasurvei, studi hasil-hasil penelitian, analisis masalah, dan analisis kinerja instalatur listrik. The Commonwealth of Australia has begun the implementation of a new front package labelling system for packaged food products. Despite calls from various health groups advocating for a mandatory front package labelling system, the Commonwealth opted for a voluntary system that relies on the goodwill of individual companies for its implementation. In discussing Australia’s obesity epidemic that has given rise to a need for front package labelling, this paper examines the constitutionality of mandatory front package labelling requirements. The Lower Colorado River and Rio Grande Basins are home to many riparian vertebrate species with different degrees of rarity. In our study, we focused on two species of birds and two species of gartersnakes that are associated with riparian areas: the Yellow-breasted Chat (Icteria virens), the Yellow Warbler (Setophaga petechia), the Northern Mexican Gartersnake (Thamnophis eques megalops) and the Narrow-headed Gartersnake (T. rufipunctatus). While the extent of distributions of these species is relatively large, they are often patchily distributed in populations that are small; in addition, both gartersnake species are listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act. BACKGROUND: In phase 2 trials, treatment with the combination of the nucleotide polymerase inhibitor sofosbuvir and the NS5A inhibitor velpatasvir resulted in high rates of sustained virologic response in patients chronically infected with hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 2 or 3.

METHODS: We conducted two randomized, phase 3, open-label studies involving patients who had received previous treatment for HCV genotype 2 or 3 and those who had not received such treatment, including patients with compensated cirrhosis. Pendahuluan: Meningkatnya tekanan darah (TD) 24 jam dan nondipper merupakan faktor risiko morbiditas dan mortalitas kardiovaskular. Prevalensi hipertensi dan nondipper pada Penyakit Ginjal Kronik Stadium 5 dalam Terapi Dialisis (PGK 5D) masih sangat tinggi. Transplantasi ginjal akan memperbaiki TD dan nondipper. Namun demikian, satu bulan pasca transplantasi ginjal, kebutuhan dosis obat imunosupresan masih cukup tinggi yang dapat mengakibatkan hambatan penurunan TD. Perlu dilakukan studi untuk mengetahui seberapa dini perubahan pola sikardian, sehingga dapat dijadikan pertimbangan penatalaksanaan hipertensi yang lebih tepat pada pasien PGK 5D pra dan pasca transplantasi ginjal.
