Indonesia has been being a member of the 1958 New York Convention since 1981, namely upon issuance of the Presidential Decree No. 34 of 1981. Prior to taking into force of the Regulation of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia No. 1 of 1990 on Procedures for Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral awards, there were still constraints for the foreign business players in term of enforcement of arbitral awards in Indonesia. International Cooperation Among States In Globalized Era:The Decline Of State Sovereignty, Koesrianti Koesrianti

This article discusses the national sovereignty and regionalism in the context of the membership of a state into regional economic organisations. It concludes that in nowadays-shrinking world the traditional concept of sovereignty is less relevant since states have suffered a loss in their sovereignty. It found that member states of regional economic organisations have to cede a degree of sovereignty, such as in the EU. This phenomenon however is not the case for NAFTA and AFTA.

Even though the concept of human rights mainstreaming is not new to public international law, it has recently gained increased recognition as a practical approach for recognizing the linkages between human rights and other social justice issues such as environmental protection. Pada saat kehamilan, terjadi peningkatan kebutuhan zat besi (Fe) yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan jumlah sel darah merah ibu dan membentuk sel darah merah janin dan plasenta. Apabila kebutuhan zat besi ini tidak terpenuhi, akan terjadi anemia defisiensi besi. Ibu hamil yang tinggal di daerah endemis malaria rentan terinfeksi malaria, yang berdampak terhadap anemia pada kehamilan. Upaya pengobatan sendiri merupakan perilaku individu dalam mengenali jenis penyakit yang diderita dan memilih sendiri jenis pengobatan. Kriteria yang menentukan pemilihan sumber pengobatan adalah persepsi sakit/pengetahuan akan penyakit, keyakinan akan sumber pengobatan, dan efisiensi waktu yang dipengaruhi oleh keterjangkauan biaya dan jarak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan upaya pengobatan sendiri pada balita di Aceh dalam era cakupan semesta jaminan kesehatan dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian ini merupakan analisis data sekunder hasil KOR-MODUL Susenas 2011 dengan pendekatan potong lintang sebanyak 43.866 responden atau 455.750 rumah tangga di 23 Kabupaten/Kota Provinsi Aceh. Rasa nyeri persalinan yang tinggi dapat menimbulkan kecemasan pada ibu, terutama pada ibu primigravida. Nyeri yang tidak bisa diadaptasi oleh ibu yang akan melahirkan dapat meningkatkan perasaan cemas pada ibu, rasa cemas tersebut dapat menyebabkan terjadinya persalinan yang lama, sehingga kekuatan ibu akan habis saat persalinan yang berakibat terhadap kejadian perdarahan serta kala II lama. Di Indonesia, sejak lebih dari dua dekade, terjadi transisi epidemiologi. Prevalensi penyakit tidak menular (PTM) meningkat menggeser penyakit menular. Sejak tahun 2004, tiga perilaku hidup bersih sehat (PHBS) terkait PTM, yang meliputi tidak merokok, aktivitas fisik, konsumsi tinggi serat belum memenuhi target. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penggalian riwayat dan nasihat gaya hidup sehat yang dilaporkan oleh pasien dan dokter. Penelitian dilakukan dengan rancangan potong lintang pada 57 dokter dan 251 pasien puskesmas. Partisipasi ayah pada pola pemberian makan bayi harus dipersiapkan dengan baik sehingga mendukung ibu untuk menyusui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap ayah terhadap praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 536 pasangan suami istri yang mempunyai bayi usia 0-6 bulan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Desain yang digunakan adalah potong lintang dan analisis data menggunakan kai kuadrat dan regresi logistik. Rata-rata pemberian ASI eksklusif pada saat wawancara adalah 29,1%. Sekitar 83,6% dan 59,1% ayah mempunyai pengetahuan rendah tentang manajemen laktasi prenatal dan postnatal, tetapi 89,6% dan 61,9% ayah menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap …

Infeksi luka operasi (ILO) adalah bagian dari infeksi nosokomial dan merupakan masalah dalam pelayanan kesehatan, terjadi pada 2 - 5% dari 27 juta pasien yang dioperasi setiap tahun dan 25% dari jumlah infeksi terjadi di fasilitas pelayanan. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hubungan usia, status gizi, jenis operasi, lama rawat prabedah, kadar Hb, transfusi darah, waktu pemberian antibiotik profilaksis, jenis anestesi, lama pembedahan serta lama rawat pascabedah dengan kejadian ILO pada pasien pascabedah sesar di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. Advancing technology will dramatically affect the weapons and tactics of future armed conflict, including the “places” where conflicts are fought, the “actors” by whom they are fought, and the “means and methods” by which they are fought. These changes -- including continuing cyber conflict, increased use of autonomous weapon systems, the development of nanotechnology, and evolving virology capabilities -- will stress even the fundamental principles of the law of armed conflict, or LOAC. While it is likely that the contemporary LOAC will be sufficient to regulate the majority of future conflicts, the international community must be willing to evolve the …

In 1986, sociologist Patricia Hill Collins published the groundbreaking essay, “Learning from the Outsider Within: The Sociological Significance of Black Feminist Thought.” In that pivotal piece, she describes the unique experiences and perspectives of Black women faculty in academia, specifically within predominately-white institutions (PWI’s). Today, Black women faculty account for only 3 percent of all faculty nationwide (Ryu, 2010), and face a myriad of challenges related to their social location. Racism, sexism, and other interlocking oppressions create troubling obstacles for Black women at all levels in academia (Benjamin, 1998; Collins, 2000; Gregory, 2001; hooks, 1989; King, 1988).
