This session will present information on what the Education Component is doing and plans to do, and solicit ideas on future climate education efforts for NSHE. AFTERNOON CONCURRENT TRACK 3: GREEN CURRICULA AT UNLV Moderator Carolyn Yucha Student Union Room 213 Tom Jones, Ken Teeters – Incorporating Sustainability into a Hospitality Management Curriculum Abstract: For the past 15 years, faculty members in the Harrah College of Hotel Administration who teach Facilities Management (HMD 395) have incorporated a sustainability management component in this required course. The concepts of sustainability and global climate change are introduced through readings and multi-media. Consumer health websites (sites) have been around for more than a decade now. WebMD, RevolutionHealth, MyOptumHealth, HealthCentral, Everydayhealth, QualityHealth… the list of sites goes on and on. Employers, employees, health plans, providers, and general healthcare consumers have had varying reactions to these sites and buy-in remains largely a personal preference.

Effects Of Information Literacy Skills On The Use Of E-Library Resources Among Students Of The University Of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, Abdulwahab Olanrewaju Issa, Amusan Blessing, Umma Dauda Daura
Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)
This study investigated the effects of information literacy skills on the use of e-library resources among students of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. A survey was used to collect data from 72 students, and interviews were conducted with some library staff. The study reveals that although a majority (61.11%) claimed awareness of the availability of e-resources, only 25 (34.72%) make use of them.The study recommends that the university adopt information literacy standards and being teaching information literacy.

A Discontinuous Rna Platform Mediates Rna Virus Replication: Building An Integrated Model For Rna-Based Regulation Of Viral Processes, Baodong Wu, Judit Pogany, Hong Na, Beth L. Nicholson, Peter D. Nagy, K. Andrew White

Plus-strand RNA viruses contain RNA elements within their genomes that mediate a variety of fundamental viral processes. The traditional view of these elements is that of local RNA structures. This perspective, however, is changing due to increasing discoveries of functional viral RNA elements that are formed by long-range RNA-RNA interactions, often spanning thousands of nucleotides. The plus-strand RNA genomes of tombusviruses exemplify this concept by possessing different long-range RNA-RNA interactions that regulate both viral translation and transcription. Here we report that a third fundamental tombusvirus process, viral genome replication, requires a long-range RNA-based interaction spanning approximately 3000 nts. In vivo …
