"They Keep Moving Me" : An Examination Of The Effects Of Multiple Placements On Foster Youth Utilizing The Theories Of Attachment And Resilience, Meleah M. Chamberlain
Theses, Dissertations, and Projects
More than half a million youth in the U.S. are in out-of-home care each year, and they experience an average of three placements. Foster youth already face many disadvantages and multiple placements increase the risk. Through a review of the literature, this study compares and contrasts the applicability of the theories of attachment and resilience to the experience of foster youth with multiple placements. This study applies the theories of attachment and resilience to foster youth in two ways. First, this study explores how the theories help explain or predict the experience of multiple placements for foster youth. Second, this …

The sample was compromised of students at the undergraduate and graduate level as well as experienced clinicians recruited from a community mental health center in rural New Hampshire (N=86). Impact Of Cultural Tourism Upon Urban Economies: An Econometric Exercise, Elena Bellini, Ugo Gasparino, Barbara Del Corpo, William Malizia
Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei Working Papers
In recent years, interest in tourism has spread rapidly throughout many small and medium European cities, which previously have not necessarily considered themselves as tourist destinations. Tourism is increasingly seen as a potential lever towards high economic growth, measured both in terms of income and employment. In the present Working Paper we report the analysis on the economic impact undertaken in the framework of the PICTURE Project, showing the results of a novel econometric exercise to statistically assess the impacts of cultural tourism upon European municipalities. More precisely the analysis aims at estimating the effects of tourism specialisation on local …
Health & Physical Education Specialist Teachers: What Should Brisbane Catholic Education (Bce) Primary Principals Look For?, Tj Lynch
Plymouth Institute of Education
The Health and Physical Education key learning area within Brisbane Catholic Education was given significant status during the release of the 1999 Health and Physical Education documents along with the adoption of the third enterprise bargaining agreement (EB3). EB3 entitled Catholic primary classroom teachers to 120 minutes of release time per week (Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland, 2000). Release time is usually provided for classroom teachers by employing a specialist teacher. It seems to be a popular choice for many schools to employ a Health and Physical Education teacher so that both demands, to implement the Queensland Health and …
