In the final panel of the conference, three judges and two media relations officials discuss the role of the court in protecting the judicial process. The three judges presided over a plethora of high-profile cases including that of the D.C. sniper, John Wayne Bobbitt, Kobe Bryant, and Lewis "Scooter" Libby and they share their experiences with those cases and the methods they used to ensure fair trials. The media relations officials analyzed the changes in the media landscape and what appear to be some effective solutions for providing the media with information, but at the same time protecting the trial …

The Institutional Response to Crisis panel focuses on analyzing and understanding institutions and the crises they might face, more specifically the limits and opportunities for preparing for a crisis, responding to crises, and the long-term consequences of crises. The panelists provide both theoretical analyses and specific, personal experiences to discuss these points.

ABSTRACT: BACKGROUND: Chronic renal insufficiency (CRI) causes substantial morbidity in virtually every major organ system of the body. Moreover; CRI is inevitably progresses to end stage renal disease. OBJECTIVE: To find out the frequency of chronic renal failure in pediatric age group and their risk factors. METHODS: One hundred ten infants, children and adolescents with chronic renal failure age between 1 mo.-17 yr. visiting Al-Karama Teaching Hospital in nephrology, urology, dialysis and transplant units for the period from1st May 2004 until 30th April 2006 were included in this study.
