Continued Renewal Of Apostolic Religious Life: A Transformative Model, Sister Maria Iannuccillo
Master of Arts in Religious Studies (M.A.R.S. Theses)
Religious Life in the United States has gone through a radical transition in the last thirty-eight years since the close of the Second Vatican Council. With the call of Vatican II to the renewal and updating of Religious Life, most religious congregations have been in a time of renewal, transition, and transformation. However, most religious congregations in the United States have also experienced a period of decline in the number of women entering their congregation, which raises questions about their future prospects. In response to these challenges facing Religious Life in the Catholic Church, particularly in apostolic communities in the …

Methods of applying specific hynotic techniques to enhance the efficacy of psychotherapy and public address are demonstrated, including indirect suggestion, rapport, presupposition, embedded …

An Empirical Look At The Ecumenical Diaconate In The United States, Benjamin L. Hartley
An Empirical Look At The Ecumenical Diaconate In The United States, Benjamin L. Hartley
Faculty Publications - George Fox School of Theology
The growth of interest in the "escalating phenomenon" of the diaconate in a number of denominations- predominantly in the North Atlantic region - has been well-documented in ecumenical dialogues, denominational reports, and scholarly publications. A number of articles have placed the diaconate in the larger context of ecclesiological reflection, but an accurate picture of the practical reality of individual deacons and their perceptions about their ministry has rarely been examined beyond anecdotal evidence? The Songs Of Madeleine Dring: Organizing A Posthumous Legacy, Wanda Brister
UNLV Retrospective Theses & Dissertations
This document is dedicated to the published songs of British composer Madeleine Dring (1923--1977). A look at Dring's musical background, upbringing, training, and career is followed by a close examination of her art songs for solo voice. Dring, composer of works for solo piano, pieces for small ensemble, and for voice and piano, was quite active as a composer in the 1940s through her premature death in 1977. Few of her pieces for voice and piano were published at the time of her death. This study relates the journey of …
