Infrared Spectroscopy of Precipitated Calcium Phosphate Compound. Samples of calcium phosphate compounds were produced from saturated solutions containing of calcium and phosphate ions. The experiments were carried out using solutions at temperature 25 º C and 70 º C, combined with different pH value of 5, 7, 9 and 11. Precipitation mass from solutions at 70 º C was relatively higher compare to that produced from solutions at 25 º C. It was also shown that generally the mass precipitation rose with the increasing of pH. Sample analyses were performed with the use of infrared spectroscopy, particularly for the samples …

The Syntheses Of [Bzme3n]2[Mo4o10(Ome)6], Ridla Bakri

In an attempt to synthesize [BzMe3N]2Mo2O5(OMe)5 from the reaction of [BzMe3N]2MoO4 and MoO(OMe)4 in the ratio of 1:1 in methanol has produced [BzMe3N]2Mo4O10(OMe)6. The formation of [Mo4O10(OMe)6]2- anion suggests that ligand dissociation has occured in solution. Suitable crystals for X-ray chrystallographic were obtained from hot methanol and the crystal structure of [BzMe3N]2Mo4O10(OMe)6 has been solved and reported here in.

The investigation for antifungal effect of medicinal plants, combination infusion of Piper bettle leaves, Punica granatum Fructus Cortec, Curcuma domestica Rhizome. The tested demartophyta used Candida albicans. This research using dilution method to determine of minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and difusion method to determine zone inhibition around of disc. The results of determination of MIC showed that combination infusion Piper bettle leaves with Punica granatum Fructus Cortex against C. albicans respectively, 31,2 mg/ml : 7,8 mg/ml; 15,6 mg/ml : 15,6 mg/ml and 7,8 mg/ml : 31,2 mg/ml. The ability to transport body liquids in consumer products such as diapers, incontinents and feminine napkins is a key factor in their performance. This invention is designed to provide specific high fluxes (volume of liquid/(time*mass of polymer) of aqueous liquids in designated directions using bundles of new specially designed fibers. An electrostatic separation apparatus or system is provided for separating a particle mixture into two constituent species. The system includes a distributor for differentially tribocharging the particle species forming the mixture and supplying the charged mixture to a plurality of electrostatic separation cells. Each cell includes at least one separator having an inlet, a separation chamber having an electric field zone for drawing selected charged particles from the particle mixture, a collector, and a transition outlet. The biochemical basis of life-history tradeoffs is a poorly studied aspect of life-history evolution. We used radiotracer and endocrine approaches to investigate the extent to which morphs of a wing-polymorphic insect differ in the biosynthesis of lipid classes important for dispersal capability vs. reproduction (ovarian growth). The flightcapable genotype of Gryllus firmus biosynthesized a greater amount of total lipid and triglyceride (main flight fuel), which was preferentially allocated to somatic tissue during early adulthood. By contrast, the fl ightless genotype biosynthesized a significantly greater amount of phospholipid (important in egg development), which was preferentially allocated to ovaries. We report the first search for supersymmetric particles via s-channel production and decay of smuons or muon sneutrinos at hadronic colliders. The data for the two-muon and two-jets final states were collected by the D0 experiment and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 94 ± 5 pb^-1. Assuming that R parity is violated via the single coupling λ′₂₁₁, the number of candidate events is in agreement with expectation from the standard model. We report on AlGaN multiple-quantum-well (MQW)-based deep ultraviolet light-emitting diodes over sapphire with peak emission at 278 nm. A new buffer layer growth process was used to reduce the number of defects and hence the nonradiative recombination. The improved material quality and carrier confinement resulted in pulsed powers as high as 3 mW at 278 nm and a significantly reduced deep-level-assisted long-wavelength emission.
