The Keys and ID's office was broken into over the weekend, over 500 dollars was stolen. Wooster's independent study project has been ranked second in the United States, just behind Princeton, according to "U.S. News & World Report." Faculty Publications

The nature of interchain excitations in conjugated polymers was discussed. The spatially-varying solvatochromism of annealed poly(2-methoxy-5-(2′-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene) (MEH-PPV) films were studied by near-field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM). The solvatochromic spectral shifts of the interfacial luminescence were measured as a function of solvent polarity. The results were analyzed with an interfacial dielectric continuum model to determine the dipole moment of emissive excited states.
