Ga-Doped Zno Films Grown On Gan Templates By Plasma-Assisted Molecular-Beam Epitaxy, H. J. Ko, Yanfang Chen, S. K. Hong, H. Wenisch, T. Yao, David C. Look

We have investigated the structural and optical properties of Ga-doped ZnO films grown on GaN templates by plasma-assisted molecular-beam epitaxy. The carrier concentration in Ga-doped ZnO films can be controlled from 1.33×10¹⁸/cm³ to 1.13×10²⁰/cm³. Despite high Ga incorporation, the linewidth of (0002) ω-rocking curves of Ga-doped ZnO films still lies in the range from 5 to 15 arc min. Photoluminescence (PL) spectra of Ga-doped ZnO films show dominant near-bandedge emission with negligibly weak deep-level emission, independent of carrier concentration. Joanne Amnott Hoffmann was born in Lewiston, Maine in 1936. Her father was the Chief of Police in Lewiston, and her mother was a housewife. Joanne attended parochial schools in Lewiston until high school, and then attended and graduated from Lewiston High School. She continued her education at the Auburn School of Commerce, learning shorthand and typing. She was briefly employed at the Pepperill Manufacturing Company in the purchasing department, before becoming a legal secretary. She first worked for Harris Isaacson, and then worked in the firm of Clifford and Clifford under William Clifford. In 1959, she moved to Washington …

Martha Muskie was born December 17, 1958 while the Muskies were living in the Blaine House. She graduated from high school in 1976 and attended the University of Maine. She graduated in 1980, the same year her father was selected as Secretary of State. She completed her master’s degree in social work, and worked for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Washington, D.C. Martha passed away from lupus at the age of 47 on January 2, 2006.

Jane (Gray) Muskie was born on February 12, 1927 to Myrtie (Jackson) and Millage Guy Gray. She grew up in the Waterville, Maine area, graduating from Waterville High School. Her father died when she was about 10 years old, so her mother supported the family. During the summers, Jane and her mother would travel to various resorts in Maine so her mother could cook. Jane’s first job was dishwashing at one of these resorts. After graduating from high school, Jane worked in Downtown Waterville at clothing stores. At the age of eighteen, she met Ed Muskie, a Waterville lawyer. They …

We report on quaternary AlInGaN/InGaN multiple quantum well(MQW)light emitting diode structures grown on sapphire substrates. The structures demonstrate high quality of the p–njunctions with quaternary MQW. At low forward bias (below 2 V), the temperature dependent of current–voltage characteristics are exponential with the ideality factor of 2.28, which is in a good agreement with the model of the injected carrier recombination in the space charge region. This ideality factor value is approximately three times lower than for conventional GaN/InGaN light emitting diodes(LEDs). The obtained data indicate the recombination in p–njunction space charge region to be responsible for a current transport …

We present a measurement of the W boson mass using data collected by the DØ. experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron during 1994–1995. We identify W bosons by their decays to en final states where the electron is detected in a forward calorimeter. We extract the W boson mass M_W by fitting the transverse mass and transverse electron and neutrino momentum spectra from a sample of 11 089 W→e_ν decay candidates. We use a sample of 1687 dielectron events, mostly due toZ→ee decays, to constrain our model of the detector response. Using the forward …
