Persepsi Guru Terhadap Peranan Pengetua Dalam Melaksanakan Program Pembangunan Staf Di Sekolah Menengah Daerah Bachok Kelantan, Wan Mohd. Nor Kadir

This research is carried out to view teachers perception of the school principals' role in implementing staff development programmes. A few sets of questionnaires were distributed to 55 teachers from 2 secondary schools in Bachok. Based on the descriptive statistic and chi-square test it shows that most of the teachers (respondents) have positif perceptions toward their principal's role in staff development programmes. Factor such as sex, age, academic achievement, length of service and teachers interest did not have any influence to their perception. A conclusion and some suggestions are forwarded in this research.

In this project, two types of the electroanalytical methods have been studied, which are the Differential Pulse Polarography_ (DPP) and Differential Pulse Stripping Voltammetry (DPSV). The DPP mode is used to identify the half-wave potential for the metals, including the lead, cadmium, and zinc. The DPP mode is also used to determine the detection limits for the lead, cadmium, and zinc. Meanwhile, the DPSV mode is used to identify the half-wave potential for the metals. This study attempts to identify the interpretation of letters used in algebraic expressions and equations by a sample of 139 Form Four students in an urban secondary school. It also determines the distribution of their levels of understanding of algebraic notation and their cognitive levels. It further investigates the relationship between the levels of understanding of algebraic notation and cognitive levels. The data was collected from three international CD-ROM databases. i.e.. COMPENDEX (1987- 1999), IEL (IEE/IEEE Electronic Library) (1988- 1999). and INSPEC (1990- 1998). The search contributed a total of 389 bibliographic records. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the growth of private limited companies and economic factors such as interest rate, the rate of inflation, the cooperative income tax rate, the GDP growth rate and the unemployment rate during the last business cycle (1986 - 1996). The results show that the net growth rate of new private limited companies is correlated positively with the CDP growth rate. However, it has a negative, albeit weak, correlation with the interest rate. Economic factors such as the company income tax rate and the inflation rate do not exhibit any significant relationship with the …

This survey is mainly done for identifying the grammatical errors in Malay Language essay writing of form five students. It focuses on the wrong usage of three kinds of grammatical items; ; subject-verb-agreement, conjunction and pluralization. A total of 30 form five students from Guar Chempedak Secondary School participated in this survey. The data are analysed by using the descriptive statistic to find out the frequency and the percentage of the errors found in the essay. In this paper, we use the case of Chinese religion in Singapore to examine the relationships between religion and modernity, and between social processes, on the one hand, and spatial conceptions, forms and structures and temporal practices, on the other. Specifically, we look at how traditional Chinese rituals are being modified, reinterpreted and invented to fit with modern living. Such ritual transformations entail reconstructed notions of space and time.
