Brigham Young University Prelaw Review

The State Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is initiating action against the Landmine Company on the grounds of violation of the Clean Air Act. Section 107(a) of the Clean Air Act declares that each state "shall have the primary responsibility for assuring air quality within the entire geographic area comprising each state." Responsibility to "ensure a safe and healthy environment for all residents, maintain healthy ecosystems needed for the development of tourist activities and promote economic development" has been conferred on the State DEQ through state law. Therefore, the DEQ has adequate standing to bring a suit against the Landmine …

Religion scholar Jacob Neusner looks at the corporeal nature of God through the lens of Mormonism and Judaism. Chaque année, près de 1 adulte sur 1, 000 résidant à Montréal, subira une intervention chirurgicale pour le syndrome du canal carpien (SCC), ce qui représente aux alentours de 1, 000 personnes. Le ratio femme: homme est de trois pour un et l'incidence chez les femmes de plus de 45 ans est plus du double de la moyenne. Les personnes opérées pour le SCC rapportent des symptômes typiques du SCC, aux mains et aux poignets, qui évoluent depuis 2 ans en moyenne au moment de l'opération. Junction City, in the early thirties, was a sleepy, small

town located in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. With a

population of only a few hundred, it could hardly be

called a city. But the forefathers had visions of a major rail way

and highway junction at this location, providing prosperity

and a great future for all. As it was, the railway went

straight through town and trains seldom stopped there.

Subliminal advertising refers to the use of subliminal techniques by mass media and what these media messages are doing to society. A secret technology has existed and been in widespread use for decades which modifies consumer's behavior invisibly, channels basic value systems, and manages to drive much bigger segments of the population into certain pathological behaviors.
