Integrated Approach To The Modification Of The Shipping Register In Macao, Kam Fai Vong

World Maritime University Dissertations

The dissertation is a study on the modification of the shipping register in Macao. It begins by revealing the facts about the current registration of ships in the territory and ends with proposing a modified shipping register which is considered acceptable to all parties involved and some recommendations for its further development. During the process, a brief look is taken at the historical background of the creation of the Macao Ship’s Register (MSR), the cause of its inoperability and the reality of the registration of ships in the territory - the registration of property of ships instead of registration in …

Students' Perception Of Involvement In Transition, Linda D. Sadler

Theses & Honors Papers

The purpose of this study was to investigate the exceptional student's perception of his or her involvement in the transition process as well as expectations and desired outcomes for adult life. A sample of twenty-one students classified as learning disabled who were taking a study skills class chose to participate in this study. The results show that over half of this sample were not aware that they were currently in a program designed to assist them with planning their future. Strategic Alliances: How Can Seed Stock Producers Help?, Roger Dieter

Range Beef Cow Symposium

As a type of introduction I feel it may be beneficial to provide you with background information about our alliance experiences.

Our first involvement with any type of alliance format was as a participant in the Stragegic Alliance Project that was sponsored by the National Cattlemans Association in 1993. The Stragegic Alliance Project was, in part, a follow up to the National Beef Quality Audit, a project also sponsored …

Legal Ethics, J. Randolph Evans, Anthony W. Morris

Mercer Law Review

In 1989, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the State Bar of Georgia embarked upon what they considered a long-range project-to raise the level of professionalism of lawyers in the state. Its primary mission is to ensure that the practice of law is engaged in the service not only of the client, but also of the public at large.

During the past year, the Georgia appellate courts have focused their attention on professionalism. The courts issued significant …
