(EM) radiation, with their observable signatures shaped by the complex interplay between orbital dynamics, gas dynamics, and radiative processes. The evolution of the surrounding accretion flow is governed by general relativistic magnetohydrodynamics (GRMHD) within a strongly curved, timedependent spacetime, making the prediction of observable EM signals a challenging computational problem. This dissertation presents the development of a general relativistic ray-tracing framework that post-processes numerical relativity GRMHD simulations of accreting SMBHB systems. The framework enables the calculation of predicted images, spectra, and light curves throughout the inspiral, merger, and early post-merger phases. ID screening is a two-part process — the card and identity must be authenticated. Psychological research has typically focused on identity verification without considering card verification. To fill this gap, the present study had participants complete an ID verification task while wearing eye-tracking glasses to record gaze behavior during face-matching decisions. After 2 practice trials, a research assistant presented 48 physical ID cards with embedded facial images, one at a time, beside a computer monitor that presented a facial videos and calendar date. Ozone (O₃) is gaining popularity for its use in industrial and environmental applications, including water treatment, air purification, disinfection, and odor remediation. As a powerful oxidizing agent, ozone is highly effective in destroying harmful bacteria and degrading hazardous gas pollutants such as hydrogen sulfide (H₂S). Dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) reactors are widely used for commercial ozone production under atmospheric-pressure conditions. Existing research explores self-regulation in the field of special education, however there has yet to be a body of research that relates specifically to special education teachers’ perceptions of their role in fostering self-regulating students in grades K-8. This narrative qualitative study utilized interviews and observations to extract data from each of the 15 total participants across 9 suburban New Jersey public school districts. Common perceptions of participants included a lack of, or unclear, district vision regarding self-regulation, as well as an absence of explicit professional development. Protein S-Palmitoylation is a reversible post-translational modification that regulates protein trafficking, membrane localization, and neuronal function through the activity of the zinc finger Asp-His-His-Cys (zDHHC) family of palmitoyl acyltransferases. Although SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells are widely used as an in vitro model of neuronal differentiation, the expression profile of the complete zDHHC family during retinoic acid (RA)-induced differentiation has not been systematically characterized. The objective of this study was to characterize the expression of all 23 human zDHHC genes during RA induced differentiation of SH-SY5Y cells. Palmitoylation is a reversible post-translational modification involving covalent attachment of palmitoyl groups to cysteine residues. Till date, 23 members of this family have been identified in mammals, located in Golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum and nearly 40% of synaptic proteins are estimated undergo palmitoylation. These proteins include vesicle fusion proteins (SNARE), signaling molecules, ion channels and neurotransmitter receptors such as gamma-aminobutyric acidreceptors, kainate receptors and glutamate receptors. A primary needs assessment conducted through parent and sibling surveys supports these findings and identifies concerns related to anxiety, peer difficulties, uncertainty regarding future caregiving roles, and limited access to sibling-specific support services. Findings additionally reveal discrepancies between parent perceptions and sibling-reported experiences, highlighting the need for increased family awareness and sibling-focused interventions.
