Grounded in the balanced scorecard framework, the purpose of this descriptive, qualitative multiple case study was to identify strategies home healthcare agency (HHA) leaders used to maintain sustainability. AbstractMedication reconciliation is a process in which the medications a patient is taking (or should be taking) are compared with newly ordered medications to identify and resolve discrepancies. Morbidity and mortality associated with the use of medication have become a public health concern. It was identified in this family practice setting that medication reconciliation guidelines were not being followed. This prompted the practice focused question if educating providers about medication reconciliation will improve their knowledge and intent to use guidelines about medication reconciliation. Wichita County, Texas experienced decreased academic performances of elementary level children in 24 out of 45 communities. Higher numbers of traumatic experiences increase a child's risk of not meeting developmental benchmarks. The purpose of this capstone project is to support the development of a trauma-informed capacity-building program. Ungar's resiliency theory was used to understand the factors related to building resilience in children to prevent trauma. The problem addressed in this study was that although administrators in a rural northeastern Maryland school district are complying with state Senate Bill 651 by not suspending students in prekindergarten through second grade, administrators continue to struggle with preventing severe offenses from happening and reducing office referrals. The conceptual framework was based on Hannigan and Hannigan’s alternative discipline framework. The conceptual framework focused on administrators’ beliefs, implementation of discipline practices, and intervention use. The purpose of this nonexperimental study was to ascertain the relationship between perceptions of diversity of undergraduate criminal justice majors at a Northeastern college who had taken a diversity course to those who had not. Juvenile delinquency and recidivism have been consistent issues that seem to continually produce substantial numbers. The purpose of this quantitative study was to examine learning disabilities among juveniles and determine their statistical significance to delinquency and recidivism. Durkheim’s theory of anomie and Merton’s anomie/strain theory were used as the theoretical framework to guide the study. Archived cases for 15,900 juveniles, 2,633 of whom were learning disabled, were collected from the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and the South Carolina Department of Education. This phenomenological study aims to understand how post-deployment reintegration impacted the quality of life, functionality, adjustment, and levels of distress among military spouses. Additionally, this study analyzed data collected from 11 individual military spouse responses to gain firsthand insight into the challenges of post-deployment reintegration and the resiliency factors that influence stability. While extensive research existed on the challenges associated with the hardships of physical distance and absence, there was limited research on the impact of post-deployment reintegration on the overall quality of life of a military spouse.
