OXFORD, Miss. - University of Mississippi track star Rodney Lydale Lockhart was found dead around 10 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 29) at his apartment at Taylor Pointe Apartments in Oxford, near the UM campus. Lockhart, 20, a junior psychology major from Vaiden, was a member of the gold medal-winning U.S. 4x400 relay team in the 2006 World Junior Championships in Beijing.

OXFORD, Miss. -- The University of Mississippi Dean of Students Office has initiated an investigation into the events surrounding the death of Bradley Jameson. After receiving a toxicology report from the Lafayette County Coroner's office, Thomas J. "Sparky" Reardon announced that his office is leading an investigation into the death. Jameson, 18, a freshman from Fort Worth, Texas, died Saturday after falling from a tree at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house on campus.
