Lewis -- a longtime University of Mississippi professor of physics, astronomy and mathematics, former dean of liberal arts and Ole Miss' oldest living professor/dean emeritus -- died late Monday evening at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. He was 98.
