The Student Union bookstore on the Oxford campus stays busy this time of year as students sell books, buy next semester's books and pick up scoring cards to take their semester-end tests. Smith and several other Office of Student Orientation staff were giving away the computer-readable sheets outside the Union to make things a little less-complicated for students. Ole Miss exam week began Tuesday and continues through Dec. 15.

In its fourth year, the Study Breakfast on the UM-Oxford campus had its biggest turn out ever, with staff serving students eggs and pancakes beginning at 10 p.m. Butala, who is from India, is majoring in chemical engineering at Ole Miss.

Manning topped a record-breaking year by winning the Conerly Trophy, the Magnolia State's top college football award. Metcalf was named to the 2001 Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America squad.
